Creek Cottage was super nice. Very Clean. Great location. Very spacious!

This was a fantastic house. Was very clean and quiet. The screened in porch was the best, spent most of the time there. Thank you!

My family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay this past week! We love being able to drive into busier tourist areas but stay in quieter areas. The screened in porch was our favorite space...we ate meals, played card games, and took in the sounds of nature. We highly recommend staying at the Creek Cottage in Bass Harbor!

Good location short commute to all attractions, quiet neighborhood, great screened in porch, kitchen was key gathering place, sitting in living room area wasn't great but we were not there to sit in the living room. Entryway was super nice with bench and hooks to hang stuff. All the necessary amenities for what we needed. Acadia was amazing and Bar Harbor very nice little town with a lot to offer. 10-35 minutes to everything Acadia/Bar Harbor

Very clean home. Very nice screened in porch. Alarm going off at 3:15am first night sucked after 11 hr drive. No explanation either from Vicasa.
Living room couch leaves a lot to be desired. Not comfortable to sit on at all and forget about the pull out inside. Made the pullout bed but never slept on it - was uncomfortable and was stained. Thankfully there are a few blowup mattresses upstairs and that worked out great.
Despite the few negatives- would definitely stay here again. Wonderful spot and well kept.

Experienced a late night fire alarm (2x) which I reported and was told the property manager would call me that night. Never heard back that night or for the remainder of our stay.

If you’re looking to get away from the crowds and hustle around Bar Harbor this is a great option. Stayed here 4 nights with our family of 5 and a dog and it met our needs perfectly. It’s about 30 minutes to the Bar Harbor area so if you want to be closer to the tourist sites this wouldn’t be for you.

The Creek Cottage House was in a great location, close to Southwest Harbor, Acadia and Northeast Harbor. The spacious kitchen and outdoor grill made for a great dinner on our first night and there are many restaurants nearby for dining out. In spite of the fog and rainy weather we all had
a wonderful time, including our Golden Retriever!

Only thing that would have made it better was a fire pit or heater outside! Screened in porch was favorite spot!

Nice stay for our first time in Bass Harbor. 30 mins from Acadia. Great outside porch with gas grill!! Heat took a long time to warm the house so we went to bed with many blankets and then woke up to a warm place. House could use some additional touches such as a coffee table and ottoman. Beds are ok but not the most comfortable. Skylights are great to see the sky at night. Overall good first time in Maine.

The house was very spacious, clean and fully stocked. It was located in a peaceful setting, not far from attractions. We did lose internet for some time. A call was made to Vacasa and the agent was very nice. He had to inform the local contact, however we did not hear from anyone during the week. It did come back on eventually. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone!

A beautiful spacious cottage with lovely patio. Big bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Only thing that's it's a little great l far from and restaurant. If you have a car then there is not such an issue.

Great location for all things Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was our first stay on the Quiet Side and this house was so convenient and close to hiking and shopping. Will definitely book again

Our stay was great! Super cute and clean house to stay in during our trip to Acadia. Located pretty close to some great hiking spots in NP. Only issue was that the curtain in the bottom bedroom was broken when we arrived and couldn't close all the way. Luckily the dresser was easily able to cover the bottom part of the window so no one could see in at night. Either way we would definitely stay there again because this house was perfect for our trip as a family of 4!

We had 3 adults and a dog stay for 5 nights and loved it! There was enough room for everyone to move around and the trees in the backyard made the trip peaceful. Only negative was that the shower pressure wasn’t the best and it could have been cleaned a bit better. Overall, the place was great. We spent hours in the sunroom! Would book again.

This beautiful, new construction cottage was the perfect size for my wife and I, our two toddlers, and dog. It’s nestled in the woods so you’re surrounded by nature, but only five minutes from every amenity. The grounds are impeccably kept, the house is modern and spotless. We couldn’t have hoped for anything more. Thank you, Creek Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay here…there aren’t many options for short term house rentals in the area. This is a very new home It is sparsely furnished, but has the essentials. Water pressure wasn’t very good- showering in the upstairs bathroom wasn’t enjoyable. Very convenient to Acadia, which is the main reason we chose it.

Our hosts provided all the information we needed. The house was very clean on arrival and all the amenities and necessities were there. If you're looking to spend you're days exploring Acadia, but want to come back to peace and quiet this is the place for you. Tremont is about 30 minutes from the major hikes and attractions in Bar Harbor, and this location was definitely off the beaten path (yes you are in the right place if you are on a dirt road). There are also some beautiful sites on the southwest side of the harbor including excellent restaurants. The cottage fit my family of five comfortably. Although there were only two beds and a pullout, we were able to fit our air mattress easily in the loft space. The large open kitchen made for an easy gathering area and we loved the screened in porch in the back. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful secluded cottage
A perfect Maine getaway! There are a few close neighbors but the whole stay was quiet and we didn’t see any other people. About 20 mins to downtown Bar Harbor but a beautiful drive the whole way. I was worried about the directions based on a few earlier reviews but it was very easy to find as long as you keep driving a little bit after the directions stop. The house is brand new and so gorgeous.

Cottage Creek
Very clean & loved the porch, perfect to drink my morning coffee. Lacked blinds in the bathroom window, only one chair in the living room that faced the TV for evening viewing after a great day outdoors. Lots of plates, bowls, etc. but nothing to bake a casserole in or sheet pan.

Wonderful quiet retreat
The place is quiet, comfortable, and decorated nicely. Would definitely stay there again. Just need towel storage in downstairs bathroom and water pressure in showers is very low. Great location and QUIET!! Lots of beautiful birds in the area and the screened in patio is AWESOME. Our toddler enjoyed playing around outside in the sand and creek. Directions are a wee bit off but we found it easily. Information from the owner/renter was clear and timely. Thanks for having us!

Great house on the quiet side of Mt Desert Island
Very clean, spacious home in quiet, woodsy neighborhood. Good communication in regards to getting into home with keypad entry. Convenient drive to Bass Harbor Head lighthouse and Southwest Harbor. Loved having the grill to cook up dinner one night. Loved having the laundry facilities. Beautiful starry nights. Would have liked dressers in the bedrooms in order to unpack and a towel rack or shelving in the downstairs bathroom.

Clean but glitchy, hard to find
The property was clean and new but our hot water went out less than 24 hours into our three night stay. Though we were able to report the problem, we never had follow up and repairs during our stay. We chose to leave a night early.
