We love everyone about the hotel. This was our 4th stay and we never get tired of returning. This is one of the most unique hotels in the world.
Nothing

Amazing views and beautiful hotel! Very service oriented staff.
Bed was quite hard, water didn’t go down the sink properly, one of the two treadmills were broken. Small things, but things you’d expect from a 5-star hotel when paying over 1000 euro for a room.
4.5
Everything… the location, the service, the food
Cleanliness in the bathroom should be better.
4.5
the view from the terrace
very dated and tired & in need of refurbishment . our bedroom had a leak from the air conditioning unit and so we had a very wet floor which smelt bad the whole time we were there , we asked for an alternative room but they were fully booked . We had paid a lot of money for 4 nights and would have expected better service .

Only Mamedi's room service was friendly and efficient.
It is not Rodin's gate of hell but of the guests with a room near the reception. It knocks 60 times an hour, even at dawn, making it impossible to sleep. Why doesn't anyone from the hotel notice? It had been a while since I stayed in a hotel with such inexperienced and inattentive service. A bigger surprise was to discover that the hotel does not guarantee a table for dinner for guests and we were forced to eat in the villa.

Location of the hotel is wonderful, quite unique! Breathtaking views, narrow streets, impressive gardens. Breakfast was served on a patio with spectacular view, delicious pastries and good quality cold cuts. Staff is friendly and polite.
Maybe you should update the menu at Les Remparts, my friendly advice is to serve homemade french fries, or not serve at all. And try to keep the dishes quite simple, don”t try too hard, guests will be more relaxed and satisfied.

Everything except the food . Fabulous views. Excellent staff that went above and beyond. Beautiful gardens and unbeatable view. The pool are was quiet and relaxing. A unique and wonderful location.
The dinner at the ramparts restaurant was disappointing

It’s a gorgeous property, set on the mountain side in Eze. From the moment we arrived at the beautiful golden gates, we were treated like royalty.
nothing. A warning though: there’s a lot of climbing involved, particularly if you want to use the sauna.
4.5
absolutely gorgeous setting and grounds were spectacular.
lots of janky steps! but that goes with the charm.

it s fantastic
4.5
beautiful location, excellent service, fantastic rooms.
we were not aware when we booked that the hotel closed for the season on our check out day and they wouldn’t look after our bags until the flight later that evening. we were not made aware of this until the night before and we had no chance to organise bag storage. I complained and the hotel arranged for us to leave bags at another hotel nearby - this could have been avoided if the hotel had been clear about this condition at the time of booking.
also, the breakfast was very expensive at £42 each - not good value for money

the views are amazing
not as good as the first time i stayed

The view is amazing. The room is great. Lots of gardens and 2 swimming pools/sauna/jacuzzi. Staff are very attentive.
WiFi is spotty and quite slow. The infinity pool could be heated and the sauna could be hotter by default.
4.5
location and gardens and staff
room was a bit plain / out of keeping with old setting.
4.5
the location... the view...... worth everything !!!!
prestige room was uncomfortable in its structure (low ceiling at some area)

The location of the hotel
The service at the breakfast restaurant is slow, you have to ask twice if you need something. The worst part was the receptionist at the Michelin 2 star restaurant. She was totally rude!!! when I told her I had a dinner reservation, she told me to wait, because they are running late; when I told her the name used for booking the reservation, she pointed a tiny print on a piece of paper asking me :”is that your name?”. The print is so small I have to lean over to identify my name. Her attitude was so embarrassing and unprofessional.
4.5
utterly beautiful, unique character with endless magical places to explore and an amazing room to stay in
the restaurant for dinner was old fashioned for our personal taste, but it’s hard to criticise such a wonderful place
4.5
The location is fabulous but the service is not to the standard of a Relais & Chateaux.
Our room was lovely but had a lot of noise from foot traffic above and even had cigarette butts thrown over a balcony onto our outside patio where we were sitting

The location is beautiful. The views from the whole property are stunning.
The service on the whole is good and the manager was helpful in trying to accommodate our requests.
This is a unique hotel set in a stunning location but the downside of this is the terrain of the hotel. You need to climb steep stairs everywhere to get from reception to your room, to the terrace, to the restaurant, and it is an uphill/downhill hike to the pool areas. I appreciate that this is a unique location but the layout hugely detracts from your stay.
The grounds are not as well kept as they should be (dirty towels lying about, poorly kept garden areas, hot tub that doesn't work and generally tired and dated) The terrace bar and poolside furniture and cushions are dirty and tired - completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. There is nowhere to leave used towels. There is no bar service at the pool areas and you have to hike up and down 5 steep sets of stairs when you want a drink.
The level of service throughout the hotel is just ok.
The food at the terrace and le ramparts is poor, tasteless and grossly overpriced. It is trying far too hard and the menu would be better served with snacks that customers actually want and ask for (sandwiches, French fries etc...) rather than tempura prawns and stale focaccia with humous. The bar is very dated in terms of decor and the carpet stained and filthy.
The breakfast is not great with a very poorly presented buffet and chipped coffee pots and milk jugs.
The restaurant Chèvre Dor is nice but there is no atmosphere in the dining room and the service felt cold and formal. The food is tasty enough and the wine pairing was lovely but not an exceptional Michelin experience.
The rooms are dated, small and not of a luxury 5 star standard. The decor is basic and the rooms could be cleaner.
Overall this hotel lacks the 5 star touches and class that most Relais Chateaux hotel have in spades.

The hotel grounds are magical. I wish I had spent more time there. The view from the outdoor portion of the bar has to be seen to be believed! Even though the 3-star Michelin restaurant on-site was fully booked, the hotel went out of their way to accommodate us and opened up an extra room for our party of four. It was an exceptional meal with a truly incredible wine pairing. I can't wait to go back!
I wish I knew how magical the property is beforehand. I would have scheduled more time there!

a truly magical place - everything is perfect. Amazing staff, location, views are insane and very relaxing.

it is really magnificent
an amazing place that we recommend

THE VIEW
VERY BUSY,ALSO AT THE RECEPTION AND BAD PARKING FACILITIES....
4.5
The valet service is really something, plus all the attention to details!
You get not one but two pools, if your not counting with the jacuzzi (greatest sights ever!).
The breakfast. The breakfast is really something they have to improve. The spot where it takes place is quite something, yet the choices made available are not up to a 5 star hotel…
They have some bread choices, yogurt, fruit salad, strawberries and as for the hot food they only had bacon, scrambled eggs and sausages. They could at least have a chef doing some omeletes at the spot, the juices could really be natural, potatoes, beans, fried egged, boiled eggs, multiple toppings for the pancakes…

The hotel grounds and views are some of the best in the world. I’ve traveled a lot and find eze and chev dor to be the most gorgeous of places I’ve been
I’d like more casual food options for lunch.
As a vegetarian I didn’t love my food options.
I do think eZe and cap ferrat have the same menus at all upscale restaurants. I got a little tired of the same meals even though most were quite good
