Alla scoperta di Vipiteno

Ciò che mi ha colpito è la cena in quanto varia, molto buona, perfetta per chi risiede qualche giorno e vuole mangiare come a casa. .

Avevamo un appartamento in mansarda dove non è raggiungibile con l'ascensore, comunque pulito ed accogliente.

Un soggiorno nel complesso buono, ma con qualche aspetto non del tutto positivo.

Abbiamo apprezzato molto la pulizia della camera e la posizione centrale dell'hotel

L'hotel non fornisce (contrariamente agli altri alberghi) l'Active Card che consente ai turisti di avere riduzioni e gratuità per i mezzi di trasporto e gli impianti nonché per le visite a luoghi di interesse. Inoltre il fatto che alle finestre ci siano solo tende ha reso impossibile dormire oltre le 6:30, orario nel quale la luce del sole inondava già completamente la camera (le finestre erano su due pareti e una in particolare era esposta ad oriente).

Gerne wieder aber ohne Buchung eines Abendessens

Die Lage zum Zentrum war perfekt. Die Dame an der Rezeption sehr freundlich, hat auch unsere Reklamation wegen des Abendessen ernst genommen. Es war auch eine Platz vorhanden wo wir unsere Fahrräder unterstellen und aufladen konnten. Frühstück war für jeden etwas dabei.

Bei unserer Ankunft würde wir darauf hingewiesen das man in diesem Hotel eine Abendessenmenü für 22 Euro buchen kann, die Speisekarte hat sich für uns gut angehört, leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht (und wir lieben die Südtiroler Küche), die Salate waren überwiegend aus der Dose, keine Kühltheke vorhanden. Meine Pfannkuchensuppe war dermaßen fad im Geschmack, die Pfannkuchen meiner Meinung nach nicht selbstgemacht und die Brühe dazu hat nur nach Wasser geschmeckt. Mein Mann hatte Spaghetti Caponara und die waren hervorragend. Wir hatten beide als Hauptgericht ein Gulasch, wir haben selten so was geschmacksloses gegessen. Wir sind keine Fans von was zurückzugeben, aber das war nicht genießbar. Die Nachspeisen bestanden nur aus Fertigkuchen und Obstsalat aus der Dose der Käse dagegen war wiederum gut. Hier würden wir empfehlen das Gesamtkonzept nochmal zu überlegen, der Preis von 22Euro ist nicht gerechtfertigt.

Zentrale Lage des Hotels. Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer. Für einen Zwischenstopp gut geeignet.

Die Qualität des Abendessens (Halbpension) ließ zu wünschen übrig.

Wir sind zum zweiten mal dort. Super. Der Zimmer war modern, gross und schön. Konnte mein E-Auto über Nacht laden .

Der Preis ist für die gebotene Leistung zu hoch.

Das Zimmer im Nebengebäude war angehm gestaltet. Erfreulicherweise gab es viele Steckdosen. Das Rezeptionspersonal war sehr nett.

Das Hauptgebäude im Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommenN Gebrauchsspuren sind im Frühstücksraum deutlich zu erkennen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war lieblos gestaltet, das Gebäck zumeist nicht frisch.

Ottima posizione. Colazione e cena molto buoni. Camera nella dépendance moderna, pulita, spaziosa e ben accessoriata. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, compreso anche l'accesso al Golf Club Sterzing

Consigliato!

Posizione ottimale a due minuti a piedi dal centro, con comodo parcheggio privato scoperto. Stanza ampia, calda e pulita, dotata di bagno privato con grande vasca. Colazione molto fornita, dal dolce al salato, dalla frutta ai pomodori. Personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Avrei gradito tende più oscuranti in quanto di notte entrava molta luce e cuscini più consistenti o uno in più.

I am not a complaining gent, but I don't recommend Sterzing and Mondschein to solo travelers

dead easy to find the location and the reception was manned and open until 10PM at least, so I did not have to worry about self check in procedures. receptionist for the day was gifted with a friendly face he was perfect for the job. Nice balcony, and views from it. Innsbruck rates are so overpriced, what are they thinking?? so this is why I have decided to stay the night in nearby Südtirol instead where a shoulder season rate didn't break the bank. If you don't have a car, you can take a mini van city bus to BRAUNHOF high in the mountains, but I warn you hikes up there are tough and steep.

made me feel uneasy as a solo traveler depending on public transit and the vibe wasn't right. Typical groups and couples accommodation, the signs were there because I was denied breakfast. I don't know if I should have talked back and demanded my complimentary food but since the breakfast staff was disrespectfully rude, I left asap. Also, I nearly made a disastrous mistake for the second time that there are no trains between 1103 and 1303 back to Brenner and then the remaining leg to Innsbruck HBF was delayed as well, I was shaking like al leaf from being tense!! just made my flight by the skin of my teeth!! Lesson learned, next time stay in Innsbruck.

Great value for money, easy if you travel with pets, room with a view and breakfast included!

I was looking for a pet friendly last minute accommodation and couldn't have been luckier. Booked a single room and was given a triple, in the annex, so that the dog would be less bothered with noises; and with a nice balcony, so also good for smokers. I asked for a dinner in the room and was served very fast. Staff is extremely gentle. Breakfast is glorious.

Most of the TV channels weren't working (Italian DTV). Dinner prices not listed

We loved Hotel Mondschein! The rooms were huge, modern, and ours had a balcony on two sides! They're pet friendly with no additional fees. The included breakfast was good, and the dinner was delicious and reasonably priced.
