Humble

The location was convenient and staff were decent. But for the price for one night in that area is not worth it. I did however, enjoy my stay but wish they could lower the prices due to the area it’s located at.

There were addicts close enough to see by the hotel.

Empfehlenswert mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Unterkunft 1 Min Fussweg von der nächsten Metrostation der Linie 4 & 5, die durch ganz Manhattan fährt. Sehr nettes Personal und super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für NYC. Das Frühstück ist OK - nicht allzu viel Plastik, es gibt Bagels, Muffins, Burger und Cornflakes. Frisches Obst/Gemüse/Käse kann man einkaufen und im Zimmerkühlschrank aufbewahren. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist wie oftmals kommentiert nicht sehr sauber, aber so ist es auch in Manhattan. Wir haben uns sicher gefühlt.

Badezimmer-Wände sind aus Milchglas und daher leicht transparent. Waschbecken im Zimmer und nicht im Bad. Sehr kleine Zimmer und kaum Ablagefläche. Lautes Foyer, wenn am Abend die Bar geöffnet ist. Das Rooftop schliesst pünktlich um 21:30 Uhr - dann ist es ruhig. Zimmer in der 2./3. Etage leiden vermutlich mehr unter dem Lärm der Bar. Zimmerservice kam teilweise erst 17 Uhr.

Unas agradables vacaciones

Una excelente opción, precio y ubicación, es tranquilo y a pesar de que tienen el bar activo en la parte baja nunca presenciamos disturbios o fuerte volumen de música! A una cuadra del metro y en 15 minutos ya estás en Manhattan! 10 de 10… su personal muy amable!

No tenemos puntos negativos, quizá el desayuno es muy repetitivo pero se entiende ya que es continental

Very welcoming to travelers from Texas

Close to airport. Good brand name. Great staff. J Garcia receptionist was so heartfelt for travelers who had missed their flight.

Was a Saturday night DJ night in the hotel restaurant and super loud. But food was great

Never again

Nothing... oh, the bed was comfortable. That it.

Room size Location Exterior dirty Breakfast was a joke.. wow It's not worth the money.. felt I was hoodwinked.. The bathroom was the size of a closet. Plus, it had a shower inside it.. smh.. My home bathroom was bigger than that hotel room.

A localização é bem complicada, mas a dica é descer no metrô 138av pelas linhas 4 e 5. Aí o hotel fica na quadra seguinte

Comfortable stay it met our needs for being there.

Confortável, tranquilo e acolhedor.

O quarto apresentou além do fundamental, ou seja, cama confortável com roupa de cama limpa, chuveiro com água abundante e quente, toalhas limpas, macias e cheirosas, TV com programação variada e bons acessórios de higiene oferecidos pelo hotel. Além disso o quarto tinha secador de cabelo bem potente, passador de roupa a vapor e cafeteira, com louças básicas para uso. O café da manhã me surpreendeu, pois viajei imaginando que não iria atender as minhas necessidades e ele atendeu muito bem. Lógico que não oferece a diversidade como muitos hotéis no Brasil, porque o padrão cultural é outro, mas oferece dois tipos de suco (industrializado), iogurte, fruta em calda (somente um dia teve fruta natural), ovo (acho que cozido porque não como ovos pela manhã), café e 4 ou 5 tipos de chá, leite (normal) e leite de aveia, 2 tipos de sucrilhos e granola. Também oferece cream cheese, margarina e 3 tipos de geléia, os pães não eram muito saborosos, por isso optei pelo pão fatiado, que eu colocava na torradeira e ficou muito bom. O que me causou estranheza é a grande produção de lixo descartável, mas volto a mencionar "nosso padrão cultural é diferente". Enfim, a estadia foi muito boa, tranquila, o hotel fica super perto de uma estação de metrô, que te permite chegar onde você quiser. Quando voltar a NY o Wingate Bronx Haven Park tem grandes chances de ser novamente o meu hotel.

Não tenho nada a reclamar.

Great customer service! Convenient location! Would stay again if I needed to be in the Bronx!

Hands down. The customer service is second to none. Emily is a TRUE treasure and an amazing asset to the hotel! The hotel is a VERY short walk from the 4 and 5 Subway. It's about a 5 minute walk from the Dollar Tree. It is also just a short 25 minute Subway ride from downtown Manhattan/Times Square! There's also a REALLY nice bar and Latin grille in the lobby. We did not get to eat there during our stay, but the food smelt AMAZING! The bunk beds were also very cute and the rooms are spacious if you have a single bed.

I think there could be a bit more cleanliness for the rooms and cleaning the dust. Also the breakfast is very basic without many options.

Comfortable but small

I spent just 2 nights at the hotel, the reception staff were super helpful, helped warm up my food that first night. Had no complaints with the customer service.

However, the room was a lot smaller than expected and would’ve felt incredibly claustrophobic had it been a longer stay. The breakfast options were also very sparse, just carbs, nothing hot/warm.

I had a wonderful stay with the best view for my birthday.

I loved the view of in the room as well as the size, it was perfect. The Rosa added an amazing vibe to the lobby area. The staff was very helpful all the way down to the parking garage staff. The location had a great proximity to the inner city.

Good hotel fair price

3 minutes walk to subway, very clean, comfy room, decent breakfast.

The place is a little hidden, around old and empty buildings, but other than that it the surroundings were ok.

Waste management

Location. Distance to metro.

4am waste management start their day with all the trucks right outside the window. Which itself is not closing properly and all the noise doesnt let you sleep. Also the wind is blowing directly through. Asked the manager to take care of it, sent someone to check the window, didnt fix it. Told that room change is unavailable due to high demand.

Lage an der Metro, die bis Downtown durchfährt. Nettes Personal. Frühstück ok. Trinkwasser zum Abfüllen.

Die Zimmerreinigung beschränkte sich nur aufs Bettenmachen und Handtücherwechseln. Dementsprechend verstaubt war es dauerhaft im Zimmer und wurde auch auf zweimalige Nachfrage dazu nicht gemacht.

It was very comfortable, clean, the vibe in the day was very good ,it was Dj playing on the rooftop and in the lobby, it was on a Sunday I'm not sure if it happens every weekend, their continental breakfast was also good. I would definitely recommend!!

Exceptional

The hotel is comfy, staff was really nice, it's next to a subway station that takes you to midtown Manhattan in 15 minutes. There's also a continental breakfast that's pretty handy, awesome cost benefit!

Very good

Clean and spacious rooms. The bed was great, clean and comfortable. A great place to stay if you plan to visit New York a few days and also want a Metro close by.

Noise / extemely loud music in the evening (only in the reception / restaurant) may bother some customers. Specially when this is not mentioned by anyone beforehand.

Great Party atmosphere, The food and the service my room was cleaned and turned over everyday awesome room and hospitality. This is my new home away from home. Oh I cannot forget the food awesome 😋

Staff was great!

Rooftop party crowd moved to front of hotel and lobby area. Drunk and noisy, all over and in path to elevators. My vehicle rear window was smashed completely, while in an indoor garage at hotel, and without a clear reason of how it happen. It was fixed, but it detered the plans I had for the day. Wasn't repaired til 4 or 5 that afternoon. Room was basically a large closet for $205 a night. Shower and toilet had no real privacy. Only thing separating room and shower was frosted glass. No sitting area at all. I had more room and privacy on my last cruise stateroom and those are small. Though I must say the staff was great.

Location, staff

It is not that I did not like, but breakfast could be better (more variety), but I think this is related to the price per night and being a 3-star hotel. If you do not like noise, then the place may not be for you as there are parties going on till 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, but I did not bother me personally.
