Lots of positives about this place - nice decor, beautiful view, bistro next door. Some noise from road. A little more detail to cleaning would make it near perfect!

We did not see the cushions on the outdoor deck chairs but it was still a nice outdoor space. Super clean!!! There is road noise. It didn't bother us any and they are clear in the listing that it's right on 101. It actually felt very private and peaceful for being right on 101. It was great to grab breakfast next door. The yard was nice to let the dog poke around though they do need to stay on leash bc there is a steep drop. Seal Rock is a short drive and a fabulous beach!

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. It is well suited for 5 adults. The beach is a one minute drive. The scenery from the house is great…a view of the bay, the bridge and the ocean. Will definitely come again!

Very cute property with plenty of space for 3 adults to share for the week. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking gear (knifes, bowls, utensils, cutting board, stove, microwave...) and the furniture is comfortable. The parking spot was difficult to find the first time, but easy enough afterwards. The view from the porch is incredible. The Pacific Coast Highway is next to the house, but the speed limit is reduced, and the road noise didn't bother us.

I decided to book this house because of reviews talking about being able to see whales from the house. It did not disappoint! The house sits on a cliff (be cautious near the edge!) and you can see the whale watching boats coming and going from the Depoe Bay marina. On my second day, I saw three whale watching boats very close to the cliff so I knew a whale was in the area. Sure enough a whale was feeding and coming up for air literally 30 yards off the cliff? So fun to sit and watch. This went on for about an hour. Next day, I saw a whale in the same spot directly in front of the house again! The house is comfortable overall. They could use a new mattress on the bed but otherwise very nice stay.

The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Hilltop Cafe is next door and the food is amazing. The grass was overgrown and uncomfortable for our dog. The “fence by the bluff was only a rope and not safe for dogs. No privacy while in the yard as the neighbors and their dog are right there. Other than that, nice place!

We went crabbing in waldport. Found this place on Vrbo that allows dogs. The place is cute and clean with great views of bay and ocean beyond. The best place to eat in town is practically next door but. There is a fenced yard so the dog can cruise around.

House fit our needs. Property was clean. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our time in Waldport. Good location on the bay with nice views, and within walking distance to the beach, and a fantastic coffee shop just up the road. The house was as described, was clean, and cozy. The only downside of this location is the entrance to the property. It’s a tight turn if you’re coming from the north. We figured out how to manage it quickly though, so it wasn’t an issue. We’d still stay here again!

The house was super cute and clean. They don't provide coffee filters, so be sure to bring everything you might need.

Lovely little house perched upon the cliffs above Alsea Bay. Beautiful views of the bay and sea lions below. Very comfortable beds to relax in after a long day spent crabbing or on the beach. Perfect spot for a relaxing week long getaway. They even allowed us to bring our three dogs. Only marks against this property would be the ants, and the ventilation over the stove is not functional. Also the untimely 8:00am hedge trimming was less than desirable, but we were already up for the day so not too big of an inconvenience. But these things would not affect me staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was lovely to look out over the bay and see the seals, herons, and pelicans each day. Our only complaint was with the cleanliness, we had ants that seemed to be coming up along the edge between the bathroom and the hallway. Also there were spider webs (and spiders) in almost every corner. Otherwise it was wonderful, the beds were comfortable, check in was super easy, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and even baking dishes (we made cinnamon rolls one morning and they had a baking dish for them), and there were plenty of towels, washcloths, etc.

First off, we had a great time. The property was clean and appeared well kept. It sits right on the Alsea Bay, but you have to walk down a very tight shoulder towards town to access the beach. There is a restaurant right next door that was good and a coffee shop about half a mile away heading south. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay for the family and our dog.

It was a small but well laid out property. The view was amazing and worth the stay. It was next to the highway but very quiet inside the house. It was clean and the property was well looked after. Would stay again

An older model with incomplete updates. Trickey turning in and out of the parking area right on hwy 101. No ice maker in the fridge, and an older range with a hood with an inoperable fan. We really enjoyed the view of the bay and rivermouth with the harbor seals, birds including eagles, ospreys, and auklets. Great access to the beach just a few hundred yards south on 101.

The property was just as promised, clean and right on the Bay where it meets the ocean! We enjoyed the property and had no issues... the bistro located adjacent to this place has amazing food!!

The house was in great shape, had good updates and was just what we were looking for. The view from the deck and via windows was great, we watched the boats come and go in the channel and could see the tide come up and go down. The house was comfortable and worked well for us.

Too clse to highway.

Check in was smoothe, the house was as advertised. The kids loved the bunk beds in the second room. Each night we would see seals playing in the harbor and watch them with our binoculars. House is just outside of Waldport. Oh, and their cleaning fee actually pays for cleaning unlike many other listings that wasn't you to have the house absolutely spotless when you check out with all the linens cleaned and dried!

Road trip
The cottage was a great place to unwind for a couple days. We have very small dogs so the fence was not great as they could slip through but for medium or
Large sized dogs it would be perfect. I would recommend highly!!

Beautiful Place
The views were incredible and the local sea lions were fantastic too. We brought our 2 puppers with us on our trip & they loved it too! There were plenty of dog friendly hikes and beaches nearby to keep them happy. Great stay, definitely close to the road but overall, great little place. Thanks Gaia's point!

Gaia's Point
The decor was beautiful as was the view. Microwave was not functional-it was catching fire. Bathroom sink was clogged. Many dishes were dirty. Dishwasher was full when we arrived. It is very close to the Pacific Coast Highway, so it was extremely loud from traffic noise.

The house was amazing, the view was exceptional
Would do it all over again- would cut down on the wind if a piece of plexiglass or something was installed on the one side of the porch but other than that is was a perfect get away

Beautiful Oregon Coast
The location is near family so it was perfect for a few days of visiting. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate so we couldn't enjoy the porch. The house is tidy and perfect for our small group. The access is our only concern. Traffic is fast as they come up the hill from town. You need to be very careful pulling out.
Plenty of kitchen ware so meals are easy. Great view from the dining table.
Access to the beach is a bit of an inconvenience, but can be figured out!
We had a great breakfast at the cute place next door.
Note to managers, check the oven temperature settings. I think they are off.
I would stay again!
