The outdoors was great, but the house is very dirty. We tried making the best of this place, but it's really not well maintained. There was a heavy musty odor with some mold on the bathroom ceiling. The downstairs was locked even though it was listed as part of the rental. 3 propane tanks were all empty. I would not recommend this place.

We had a great stay! Really nice location and a really beautiful home. My only 2 small things that we didn’t like was the bedrooms did not have any TV’s. Also the pillows in each room were extremely flat. Lastly the basement did smell musty. But other than that it was excellent stay!

Meghan’s home is beautiful. It was perfect for our family. The back porch has Mountain Views and the river is so fun for kids and adults. Meg was quick to respond to any questions I had. My kids are already requesting we never stay anywhere else!

What an amazing find! The house feels much larger than it appears. The amount of people it can sleep is amazing and you never feel like you are on top of each other. We had our two sons and their families with us and we had plenty of space!
The house was super clean and Megan was an extremely responsive host.
The location is perfect-central to everything we wanted to do.
We’d love to come back and cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Well equipped and tasteful house right on the river with view of mountains right out the front door. The kids loved running and playing in the huge grassy field and playing in the river. A short walk takes you to the snowmobile trail where peaceful woods and past a tranquil beaver pond await. Easy access to Crawford and Franconia notch trail systems and the Gorman Mountain Club trails. Short drive to Santa's village. Idyllic setting for a white mountain getaway.

Excellent communication by the owner. Flexible to check in early and check out late. The property is quite secluded and private which was nice.

Property was centrally located to everything we wanted to visit in NH. Beautiful area with lots to do. River is nice for children to play in. House was clean & beds comfy. Nice yard & deck. We visited during an extremely hot period and the owner brought an A/C to the master bedroom on the same day we reported it was warm. It was much appreciated. Owner was quick to respond to any questions. Great stay - would recommend!

Great spot!
This house was perfect for a weekend away to Santa’s Village! We loved that the bedrooms were all on one floor - the set up was perfect for our families. The house was so clean and it had everything we needed. We explored the yard and river too - so cool! The day we were leaving we saw a bald eagle fly right by the house - beautiful!

Perfect space for a getaway with family
It provided us the perfect location to get away from home and still enjoy feeling at home with the great outdoor space. Having the ability to not fill every second of the day with an activity and just be able to go outside and run around and kick a ball and walk down to the stream gave us so much joy. Everything was spotless and Megan was awesome to communicate with. We will for sure be back!

Awesome vacation home
My family and I stayed for the long holiday weekend. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had 5 adults, 2 small kids and an infant. The yard is huge and we brought yard games and a soccer ball for the girls. They loved being outside, especially when we took them to the brook with their little fishing poles. We had a fire every night and enjoyed being outdoors. It was close to Storyland which we visited on Saturday and then Echo Lake another day. The house had all the comforts of home and we would certainly stay again and recommend to others!!

Twin Mountain House
We enjoyed our visit at the Carroll NH house, it was in a good central location and very comfortable. We were within a quick 15 minute drive for many hikes and fishing spots. We found the property had a lot of traffic noise from the nearby highway but it didn't keep us from sitting outside and picking the native blueberries in the back yard. Meghan was available and helpful.

Gorgeous Home Away From Home
The house and property were absolutely phenomenal! Everything was there that we could possibly need and more. Our 3 children had such a fun time playing together in the big back yard and riding their scooters in the circular driveway. There were lots of adventures had at the river by the kids and a beautiful Propane firepit on the back deck for us moms to unwind and watch the sunset at night. Meg was so kind and very responsive. Check in was simple and she answered any questions we had within 30 minutes! Thank you Meg for an awesome vacation! We will definitely be back next year for our annual trip.

Beautiful property inside & out
My family had a wonderful time staying here as we spent the week out & about hiking and enjoying all the beauty of nature that the White Mountains area has to offer.
The house was super clean and very tastefully decorated and updated. It was clear from the second we stepped into the property that ownership takes pride in maintaining the home and making sure it is an enjoyable experience for those who come to stay here. Our minimal communications with ownership we're extremely pleasant and helpful. Beds were comfortable and we took a day to enjoy the wonderful river frontage out back. We brought some inner tubes down to the river and everyone enjoyed the day.
We appreciate the opportunity to stay here and would definitely recommend. We are hoping to take another trip to the mountains of New Hampshire again in a year or so and when the time comes most certainly try to stay here again. 5 stars.
