Apartment was spacious, clean and situated in a rather quiet area. Every night I slept well. Feels secured.

First impression was welcoming when Lyn arrived home as I arrived same time. The apartment is spacious for one or two persons. Kitchen is well set up with more than what I needed. While I stayed for 6 nights, I was out from 0830 to 2130 every day so didn’t be to enjoy this spacious apartment. Garden was beautifully established so does add up to the comforts of my stay.

I am happy with everything.

Great stay, Hosts were great. Location was great for our needs.

Breakfast? I think there was some Muesli & Milk. We brought our own, so didn't use the Muesli. Milk was helpful.

Fan heaters for heating so a little noisy, but did the job.

A lovely homestay, with all comforts of living in your own home

A spacious, cozy home-stay with all comfort and privacy you need. The property matched the pictures and description to the point, it was extremely clean and everything was functional within the premises. The hosts were quite responsive and took the comfort of their guests as priority. On arrival, the hosts handed me the keys directly. I could use the driveway to unload my bags, however parking had to be done outside off-street. There was ample space available and it was perfectly safe to keep the car there. The living room had a heater and fan, functional tv and a table for two. It was connected to a full scale kitchen with all necessary utensils and kits. Wifi was quite fast and covered all the rooms. The bathrooms were maintained quite well with a bathtub and shower. The bedroom had a large mirror, comfy pillows and a wardrobe to hold the bags in and drawer for storage as well. Each room had small notes and user manual for guests. | Location: It is 10 mins away from the busy streets of CBD in a small community by water as promised.

Spacious, good locatio- but somehow noisy

Spacious, basic needs, good Wifi, good location going both ways of Taurunga (to the city or to the Mount).

No oil salt or almost anything. The shower is tiny even for normal (not too fat) people. The worst problem is that the apartment is far from being soundproof. The people that live above (the owners?) were really quiet, but you can hear any step the make. So if you are noise-sensitive maybe this apartment doesn't suits you.... sorry.

Beautiful, clean apartment. I felt comfortable.

The Appartment could do with a separate bed. My fried and I did not feel comfortable sleeping together in a double bed. Using one cover. She slept instead on the sofa.

Hidden gem - my new preferred stay in Tauranga

Great location on a very quiet residential street. Gets a lot of sun throughout the day. Lots of seating options so I could work from the kitchen bench, dining table, sofa, or even an outdoor table if weather allows. Host was very responsive over text, but otherwise left us to our own devices, which suited my introverted nature perfectly.

Only minor nitpicks that did not detract from staying here again. Other people lived above us so we could sometimes hear muffled footsteps and snoring, but everyone was respectful and there were no loud noises. Also, there’s only street parking available.

Just what I needed. Safe and comfortable haven.

Warm and comfortable place when I needed it. Good location and nice and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Great views across the water at the end of the road.

Needed a sharp knife in the kitchen. Shower is small.

The accommodation was bright, comfortable and very clean and tidy.

Location was great, so handy to Bayfair and Cameron Road

The heater smelt of burning dust which was a pity as we were afraid to use. This was the only minor criticism.

I was very surprised to find out when I arrived at the accommodation that the owners live upstairs and that it’s not advertised in the the description of the apartment. Also no oven was a disappointment.

Wish there were more bath towels as there were 2 of us but we only had one towel each. Towels were small and thin and we are average sized people so this was a bit of a let down. Would recommend to have more options for tv viewing as there was no sky nor netflix compared to other stays

Great handy spot and central. Lovely little unit that was just right for our visit.

The location was great for needing to be near to the Rangataua Rugby Club. Having been a pāpāmoa local for 13 years it was quite hard trying to find accommodation near by. We were over for a whānau celebration and was a good distance to walk to venue if needed. Lyn and Duncan were also really accommodating with providing extra towels and blankets for 2 last minute guests the night of the whānau gathering. Thank you for your friendly hosting.

Please look into cotton or flannelette sheets in place of polar fleece sheets. Happy to throw an extra blanket on the bed if it is a bit colder. Not as easy to remedy, but off street parking would be nice and would feel a bit more secure for guests. Though the area is quiet, there were still cars we could hear racing up and down the narrow road. If there was a small space you could cordon off for your guests it would be great. More coffee :) A jar of Moccona as all the coffee sachets were drunk pretty quickly. Google chrome or upgrade to a smart tv where people can screen share their phones to the tv for movies etc from their personal accounts. Everything else was great though and lovely spot central to city and welcome bay.

A very relaxing, cosy and comfortable stay.

It is very private and even has a table and chairs to enjoy morning tea outside.

It would be good to have a Carpenter to realign the door to the kitchen so that it could be closed and with no gaps when finished. The kitchen window over the kitchen sink runs out quickly and too far when opened and needs to be closed while using a chair.
