Breakfast was fantastic. Great interaction from the host, Helen. My room had its own separate entrance and was accessed without disturbing others. Other family members also engaged in conversation and made the whole experience really inviting.
Absolutely nothing.

Simple and honest. High standards made for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The AMAZING Scottish breakfast and hospitality was a wonderful bonus.
Nothing.

Helen is a superb host and goes beyond to make your stay comfortable. This was an ideal location when working nearby.
Nothing could have been better we will return again when working nearby or travelling personnally.

This was our second stay at Auchenlea because it is located so well for visiting Glasgow without the huge price tag. Helen is a perfect host and a great cook! The room was spotless and the little touches of fresh milk and twice bars to enjoy with a cup of tea are much appreciated and add a touch of home. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Nothing! It’s a great place.

Close to Glasgow but with a country feel.
Comfortable room and ensuite.
Helen was really helpful with info about going into Glasgow city on the nearby train. Breakfast was delicious and there were horses! What’s not to love?!! Thank you!

Perfect location to Glasgow, just a short drive down the road. We had the room off the deck, wonderful view of the horse farm next door, and Helen was absolutely fantastic.

The room was very cosy and comfortable. Beautiful property and lovely garden, very peaceful. The host was lovely and breakfast was really good. Would stay again.

Wonderful stay, we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for the Chris Hoy Velodrome which is just a short train journey away from Auchenlea B & B. Spotless rooms with beautiful spacious sun room to relax in. Tea/coffee and microwave in bedroom with fresh milk in fridge. Great breakfasts freshly by our lovely host.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was a little far from downtown Glasgow, but the value and accommodations made up for that. Helen was an outstanding host. My wife and I spent an evening relaxing in the property's separate sunroom. Very enjoyable.

Full spectrum of breakfast was available, cooked to order. Excellent. The bed and breakfasting rooms were great no complains at all. Easy access to motorway and rail for Glasgow and Edinburgh and further afield if required. The general area is quite safe, no concerns. Will stay again.
No complaints.

If we could give 5star plus we would. Best B&B we have stayed in for many many years, if not ever. B&B done the way it ought to. Welcome, excellent and friendly. Accommodation, immaculate and tastefully decorated. Comfort and facilities, superb. Food, well it was magnificent. Worth every penny and more.
Leaving. We felt so at home we cancelled an event we were going to at night as the B&B was so comfortable.

Could not have been welcoming. Great breakfast, comfortable bed. The facilities and location. The appearance of country but ideally placed for Glasgow, surrounding area and motorway network. Highly recommended.
No adverse comments.

The room was great, the bed comfortable and the space was quiet, even though there is quite a bit of traffic around. I am a light sleeper but slept solidly here. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Everything was possible from a full fry-up to berries and yoghurt.
There was not a lot I did not like. I am personally not a fan of electric showers, especially if there seems to be heaps of pressure on the hot water system. It could be a little cheaper, but then everything is expensive these days. Otherwise, a great B&B!!!

Bed and breakfast was like a home away from home. Helen was welcoming and presented a lovely breakfast each morning. Walk to dining or short drive to Coatbridge to dine. Short walk to railway station to explore Glasgow. Just a lovely family home being shared for guests.
Couldn’t fault

Elaborate breakfast, late check-in was possible
4.6
Good choice of continental and cooked scottish breakfast.
Location just 32 minutes walk from the direct rail line into Glasgow and SECC (27min into Glasgow central. V. similar to driving and finding parking space. Note driving through Glasgow trakes time!
I do like cotton/linen sheets (and blanket) to synthetics for cooler night's sleep but understand its not the norm nowadays
