Great steamboat house
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the place was spacious, clean, well-equipped and very convenient.

The house had a beautiful view of the valley below. You could see all the way across to the other side. The only complaint was the parking situation. With 3 different families we were unable to park our 3 cars at the house. 2 of the cars had to be parked at the bottom of the mountain and had to shuttle back and forth to get the cars.

Great home and amenities, but I expected much better service from Mgmt. Company given the price.
With today’s work remote focus because of Covid I would expect this price level of VRBO location would understand how important working internet is for customers. I tried 5 times to get hold of someone to fix the non-existent Wi-Fi upon check-in, and each time I was told someone would be there in an hour. Nobody ever showed and no calls back, I finally got a supervisor a day later and she wasn’t even aware of the other contacts/messages and was completely indifferent to my frustration with the lack of response. The only thing they seem to prioritize is if you are locked out of your unit. I asked if I need to talk to the owner to get better response and was asked if I know the owner. When I said it was booked via VRBO she said do what you think is necessary in a snide tone and hung up. The maintenance guy that finally came to the house on our 2nd day in the location was great and apologetic for the delay, and after a hour on the phone with Xfinity finally got things working with a new SSID. The rest of our stay was great, the house was stocked with towels for the wonderful steam shower and hot tub. The kitchen had all of the items you need to make great meals for a family of five and could easily handle more. The only thing that really needs replacing is the grill (we used our travel Weber Q instead). The house has all the TV’s and other amenities you’d expect and the game loft with the poker table and bumper pool table was a lot of fun in the evenings. We are also appreciative of the AC units that are installed on the top floor and made it very comfortable when temps get high in the summer. The parking worked out well even though it could be a challenge depending on your neighbors, the people next door were very nice and respectful to leave room enough to get by their 2 cars. The location is amazing in that you feel like you’re alone in the forest even though you’re a few blocks above some of the larger condos and restaurants, it’s very quiet so you can relax and the stars at night are amazing. The kids favorite part of the trip was that we had a mama black bear and her 2 cubs stroll by on their way back up the mountain on our last evening.

We had a great time. Check-in and check out were very easy.

Location was great. Easily accessible to town and mountain activities. Very Private. We stayed during the summer but it would also be awesome during ski season! Lots of open living spaces, kitchen well equipped too!

The property was as advertised. Plenty of room for my family(6 adults and three children plus 1 grand dog). The kitchen and supplies were great. It was very roomy and clean.
My only complaint is that it was unseasonably hot(85 degrees in the house when we arrived). There two cooling units on the main floor which were not turned on until the fifth day of our stay. Even without the cooling units it was comfortable at night, but it was pretty uncomfortable during the day.
