Other sights include the pile-dwelling museum at Unteruhldingen (13 minutes by car), Salem Castle (also 13 minutes by car), the baroque church of Birnau (11 minutes by car), Friedrichshafen with the Zeppelin Museum (25 minutes by car) or Lindau on the Bavarian side of Lake Constance (45 minutes by car). Especially for children, the Lake Constance region offers numerous experiences: the Monkey Mountain in Salem (11 minutes by car) with 200 Barbary macaques living in a 20-hectare forest enclosure that visitors are allowed to enter, Connyland - an amusement park with dolphin and parrot shows in nearby Switzerland (1 hour by car) or the Ravensburger Spieleland (35 minutes by car).
