Really large room and bathroom in a restored old house. Excellent service and great breakfast. Dinner was really good. Comfortable bed and soft and fluffy sheets.

It was the most beautiful hotel- exceptional. The biggest bed, the softest sheets, a balcony. Its like a palace
The breakfast is continental and small

Absolutely outstanding! Clean beautiful old hotel, delicious dinner and good breakfast, not the best coffee. Driving distance to beautiful wild beaches.

Those from the US will remember the Mansions from the Gilded age in Newport RI. This place is npt as large or grandiose as those mansion, but imagine if one of those mansions were converted to a hotel. The garden's were well kept and the place was clean.
The biggest problem with this place was NO ONE spoke proper English. The manager spoke Spanenglish. I barely understaood what what he said. The restaurant did not have a menu in English - and no one could explain the choices available to us. Really frustrating. The onus is on booking.com to warn about staff not knowing English. Also, the place was in the middle of nowhere - the coast of La Coruna was over 50 kms away.

Garden, the interior design.

The ambiance of the old house, the stain glass and tiling. The breakfast was very good, fresh croissants, squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit.

The bedroom and bathroom provided everything you would expect in a palace. Amazing big and comfortable rooms.
The breakfast was plentiful and you could help yourself to make as much coffee or tea as you wished. The breakfast room was a pleasant and clean environment.
The location of the hotel was in a peaceful small village but not far from Ferrol which is a fair sized town with all the facilities like shopping, etc.
No coffee machine in room

Lovely historic villa.
The dinner option was not that great.
Not very comfortable beds.
A bit more care when restoring the villa would have been nice, some of the restoration work was not in character with the house (chrome fittings mixed with brass in the bathrooms, a mix of old furniture and newer pieces that were not up to standard)

Amazing period property. Just stunning! Beautiful room with huge terrace. Lovely 4 poster bed. Clean and luxurious. Staff could not have been nicer. close to amazing beaches.
Location was a little close to a road. Unfortunately, there were a few noisy barking dogs nearby.

We were offered a double room which had a second large bedroom on the second floor of the room. Great if you are travelling with kids. We were lucky as we had the entire hotel to ourselves. Staff was great. The owners were kind especially for the children. We were offered coffee and cake on arrival. Breakfast was great with huge tortilla. Private parking.
Pity the restaurant had not yet opened (as the owners had just opened up for guests).
