Welcome to 'Two Shores'!
This 4BR/4BA luxury home features 3 Master bedrooms each with a King bed and a private bathroom w/ shower. Two of the King Master bedrooms face the Gulf of Mexico with access onto a covered Gulf side deck with water views. The 4th bedroom offers a Double bed and Bunkbed (2 Twins) and access to a separate full bathroom w/ bathtub/shower. A full size washer/dryer is also available.
The open living space with Gulf views is accentuated with beautiful tray ceilings while Quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances finish the custom kitchen. The spacious, covered Gulf side deck allows for comfortable lounging with views of sparkling Gulf waters. Modern conveniences include 2 Blu-ray players, Smart TVs in every bedroom and 65" TV in great room and 100mbps internet speeds! Please note, this is a non-smoking property.
Outdoor amenities include a hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning station, park grill and covered entry and parking with plenty of shaded space for the little ones. Located within the gated Kinja Bay community, guests can enjoy the large community swimming pool and access to the sandy Bay beach and community dock with private boat slip. Beach access is only a short walk from the property.
Guests at ‘Two Shores’ not only have easy, official access to the East End Gulf beach at the 11th street public walkway, but also to an amazing experience few SGI visitors even think about, let alone have such easy access to—the shores of the St. George Sound. Bring your kayak or paddle boards and you will have a perfect sandy launch to go explore the bay where so much marine life is easily seen among the estuarine sea grasses that prevail in the area. The Kinja Bay community is adjacent to hundreds of feet of undeveloped shoreline including the “Sam’s Bayou” area. (Look it up on Google Maps). Practically an aquarium right in front of you, multiple species of crab, baitfish, large mullet, redfish have been sighted from shore as well as the very long dock that leads to the community’s boat slips. While the sun is setting, often guests take advantage of the recently renovated gazebo at the water’s edge or take walks along the sandy, pristine shores. When the tide has gone out, a sandy spit juts out from the shore and guests commonly explore this as well as the tide pools that have a variety of sea creatures. Kids love bringing their nets to get up close views of some of these animals. If you have not experienced the serene beauty and ecological wonders of the bayside, you will want to come and enjoy ‘Two Shores’!
Guests of ‘Two Shores’ have complimentary use of the owner’s “pull through” boat slip. The dock has an electrical outlet and a water hose for cleaning/rinsing your vessel, gear, etc. You should bring an electrical extension cord of 100 ft to reach the slip. Please note that the dock is maintained by the community and the condition of the hose and electrical outlets is not guaranteed. All users of the boat slip and the amenities assume all risks to their vessels and personal injury in doing so. The maximum size boat is 20 feet. Boaters should take note that the boat slip is in the open bay (not a protected harbor) and therefore subject to rough seas when winds are greater than 12 mph and come from any direction not from the south. Boat owners are advised to use their judgement in deciding to store their boat in the slip.

We were fortunate to be able to stay a week at Two Shores and we loved it!! The layout is perfect - a large main area with a kitchen and living room and four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, off each corner. The balcony was the perfect place for our morning coffee and evening cocktail. It's a very short walk to the bay for fishing and paddle boarding and also a short walk to the beach, where we never had to fight for a space. The water was the perfect temperature, too.We will hopefully be planning another trip back next year!

This is our second year at this lovely home. The layout is ideal for our family and the home is well stocked and very clean. The area is quiet and the walk to the beach is easy. The pool was clean and the grands enjoyed playing there as it was typically just them. The bay access is one of our favorite features as it provides another area to explore and enjoy. Great area amd a great home!

We had a very enjoyable time with our group of 10 people which included 4 very young grandchildren. First off, the staff of forgotten Shores could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The property was perfect for our needs. The three king rooms with king beds and showers were very comfortable and well appointed. The bunkbed room was loved by my four young grandchildren. The kitchen was extremely well stocked up, and the interior layout was both practical and spacious. The unit was very clean and well-maintained. All in all our stay exceeded our expectations and we plan on returning next year. what a great value!

Two Shores was a great place for us to enjoy our first trip to St George Island. Most of our party never left the island the entire stay. We had everything we needed. The house was clean and smelled fresh when we arrived. The kitchen (actually the entire house!) was the best equipped of our experience. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. I heard no complaints from the others in our party. All appliances performed well. We enjoyed star gazing from the dock. It was an all around great vacation.

The property description is very accurate regarding location, layout, and amenities. It is very clean and uncluttered. The furniture is very nice and does not overwhelm the living spaces. The kitchen is well equipped and very functional. It does not have an elevator however once up the stairway, there is only one level. We like the fact that it does NOT allow pets as we have family members with allergies. FORGOTTON SHORES is an awesome property manager to work with. We have stayed in this house several times and will again this year. We take kayaks and enjoy them at the bay both at the house and at the State Park. Bocce ball on the beach is fun and of course beachcombing and relaxing. We mostly prepare our own meals but do enjoy dining at the BLUE PARROT.

We loved our stay at Two Shores and will definitely be coming back! The bay was perfect for our family as we have small children and the water was shallow and clear. We caught reds off the dock and saw lots of dolphins in the bay. Short walk to the beach. The home was very clean and we used the grill, fish cleaning station, and outdoor shower. All in great condition. Rental company was very quick to respond to all of our questions. Can’t say enough great things about our stay. Although, we had a neighbor complain about vehicles in our parking area, the rental company was very nice about it, as we did not break any policy by having less than 10 occupants. Overall, 5/5 stars.

My family had a great time in St George and this house was wonderful. Easy access to the beach, a short walk away as well as community pool was lovely to have. We also appreciated how clean and fresh everything was at the house and the large porch with lots of seating. We used our gear credit for bikes and had a good time riding around the island. Would recommend this home for both location and its amenities!

TWO SHORES is a new home located in Kinja Bay, a gated neighborhood consisting of six homes with a community pool. There is easy access to the bay where we kept our kayaks and enjoyed some nice sunset paddling. Even though the home is across the street from the ocean, it has nice views and a short walk to beach access.
Two Shores is very well constructed and remarkably insulated from road noise. Being an east end property the state park is a short drive or bike ride away and has great facilities that we always take advantage of.
We are most thankful that the owners do not allow pets as we have several grandchildren with acute allergies. There is no elevator so the stairway for entry can be tedious for anyone with mobility issues. I am in that category but just took it slow and let everyone else do all the work getting food and luggage secured upstairs. Once up, the living area is all on one level and is well equipped but not cluttered with “stuff”.

We visited Two Shores with our family from California which included four adults and three teenagers. We enjoyed being able to each have our own spaces and still congregate on the deck or in the family room/kitchen area. We utilized both the bay side to kayak in the calmer waters and the gulf side to ride the waves and walk for miles on the beach.
The house is brand new, very clean, and just as advertised. There are even a few more seating areas on the deck and great reclining chairs for reading and napping! Being a newer home, there aren't a lot of items left-over from other renters, so you should plan on bringing things like olive oil, spices, soaps, shampoo, etc. Having rented many spaces, I think it's always nice to know what is on site and what you might not think to bring. They did have a few puzzles and games, but we were lucky with the weather and did not need to use most of them!
This was our second time staying on the island, and we tried a few new places like Weber Donuts, The Beach Pit (bbq), and made it across the bridges to Apalachicola for some shopping and walking. While I would still recommend stopping at a large grocery store on your way to the island, we found that the Piggly Wiggly in Apalachicola to be more stocked than the grocers on the island for your mid-week shopping needs. If you go further to St. Joe area, you sill find even more places to pick up groceries, etc.
We love this area and the ability to fade away into the sun and sand and would highly recommend staying at Two Shores for your visit. Jamie from Forgotten Shores was amazing and we will continue to rent from them in the future!

Two Shores is a BEAUTIFUL brand new space that provides a peaceful clean stay for you and your people. The great room and bedrooms are designed and decorated tastefully and were so comfortable for our big crew. The large front porch provided early morning coffee culture, with comfortable ample seating for all and great crawling space for my one year old twins (the material is so nice - marine grade? And didn’t cause splinters for alll the little feet in our house). In the evening the adults could sit on porch to catch up with one another comfortably too while the kids watched fun movies together inside.
The bay with boardwalk was a fun walk daily for sunset sighting.
And the easy walk across the street to the beach was rewarding with the soft white sand and blue green gulf waves.

The large front porch provided early morning coffee culture, with comfortable ample seating for all and great crawling space for my one year old twins (the material is so nice - marine grade? And didn’t cause splinters for alll the little feet in our house). In the evening the adults could sit on porch to catch up with one another comfortably too while the kids watched fun movies together inside. The bay with boardwalk was a fun walk daily for sunset sighting. And the easy walk across the street to the beach was rewarding with the soft white sand and blue green gulf waves. We loved Two Shores and are so thankful for the memories we made last week. We will definitely rent from forgotten shores property again and would be happy to rent Two Shores again.
