The house is spacious…plenty of room for ten of us! The two golf carts were a hit with everyone and so easy for getting to all the island hots spots. We spent a lot of time on the back deck! We cooked every night, and the kitchen was well-stocked.

We were at the property for a small 80th birthday celebration. The place was as described, the kitchen was nicely stocked for food preparation and there was plenty of room to spread out.
The golf carts were a great amenity as we were able to explore the island without having to find parking for automobiles.

The layout of this house was great for our family. The first day we got there, the air conditioner was not working upstairs. Called the manager and they took care of it right away.
The two golf carts were a plus, although the gas pedal was sticking on one of them.
All in all, we had a great week with family.
Also, it was pet friendly so we could take our dogs with us.

Enjoyed the island and the house. The house is very spacious. It was nice having golf carts to roam the island. Would enjoy renting again.

This was our fourth visit to the South Carolina coast and it was very nice. This home has two areas to gather and each bedroom has its own bath. They recently replaced the downstairs carpeting with laminate, and it looks nice and is less of a worry with pets.
I gave the listing four stars because the kitchen is described as well equipped. But to be fair, we cooked Thanksgiving dinner. My recommendation would be that if you plan to cook, bring measuring spoons and cups, serving pieces, and storage containers. There are plenty of plates, cups, and flatware, in addition to spatulas and large spoons.
The kitchen did have a Keurig and a regular coffee maker, a blender, a food processor, and hand and stand mixers. The oven is a convection oven. It has nice work areas where two or three people can work.
We enjoyed using the golf carts and riding the bikes on the beach. Most people are using golf carts to get around the island.
We bought the Fripp Island club cards for everyone in our party thinking we would go out for dinner at least two times. As it turned out, we only needed two passes (two people played golf, and we got carry out one evening). We were there in November and only one island restaurant was open after 5 pm. If you are visiting in the summer when you would use the pools and snack bars, the cards would probably be essential, but I would probably wait until I got there to see how many I really needed.
If you are not familiar with Fripp Island, be sure to buy what you need before you get there. It is about a 30-minute drive for groceries.
This house is lovely and the landscaping makes it very private. At night, it was really quiet and peaceful. We loved our week there. Fripp Island is beautiful.

House is beautiful! The setup with huge dining table and table on screen porch was perfect for our group! We were there for our grandsons graduation from marines. The drive to Parris Island is only around a half hour.

Very nice location on a quiet cul de sac street. Having the golf carts was great! We rode all over the island. My son enjoyed a long bicycle ride on one of the bikes. The house was very spacious, room for everyone. The large dining table was great for all to enjoy meals together. The bedrooms were very spacious with 2 queen beds, and each bedroom having their own private bathroom was an added plus. We enjoyed much time on the screened porch, and also the other 2 porches. The kitchen was large for cooking and had all pots and pans needed. We enjoyed our stay at Fripp Island very much.

A roomy, comfortable and well equipped home that accommodated our family very well. While we enjoyed our time here with family and friends, this home is in need of some TLC. Deep cleaning is needed throughout. The rocking chairs on the porches are flaking paint so badly, we had white paint flakes all over our clothing every time we sat. The gas grill is gross. The pull out trash can in the kitchen is broken, and the faucet handle falls off constantly. We fought sugar ants in the kitchen throughout our stay. The ensuite showers have black goo in the corners of the door frames; they need deep cleaning (particularly the door frames and tracks); the shower door in the upstairs ensuite kept falling off of the track and actually fell on me while I was showering. My husband was able to stabilize it temporarily, but it needs repair.

Relaxing Vacation
The house was perfectly suited for our group. It is very clean and welcoming with lots of uncluttered space. The layout was perfect for our needs. The great grandparents enjoyed the time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren and are already talking about another vacation to this location. The property manager was easy to reach and responded very quickly to a question we had. We will definitely be back!

Great stay
This was my first time locating and booking for a family trip and we were very pleased with the location. Our family trips consist of myself and my husband as well as my 3 sisters and their husbands. Blue Heron lake was perfect as we had 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. There were two Queen beds in each room which gave sleeping space in case we had the little people. The screened in back porch was nice and calming. The huge dining table gave enough space for everyone to enjoy our meals together. We really enjoyed the convenience of having two golf carts on the property also. There were two living areas although we only used the downstairs one but could have used 1 more chair in the living room 😊. Overall we really enjoyed the house and loved the peacefulness and will definitely book here again on our next trip to Fripp. Added bonus: When we arrived there were four deer in the backyard just waiting to say hello.
