300meters to the hotel is a dusty road which makes it hard to walk to the main road to get a taxi

- Very good value for money considering that the cost of travel in Watamu is quite high.
- Extremely clean and everyone is very friendly!
- AC works great.
- Would go back.
- Full English breakfast was good but would be nice to have more vegetables.
- The owner's son had friends over and they had a large speaker by the pool on 2 days. To be fair, I didn't ask at the reception if they could do something about this!

The place was awesome. I was working while I was there and it was very cozy, comfortable and the staff was so accommodating.
Internet was very good, was working back in the states and had no issues.
The shower was also the best shower I’ve had in Kenya. Water pressure was perfect.
Netflix on the tv was also a huge plus. Couldn’t recommend more for anyone trying to relax and enjoy Watamu.

Ocean view
The abusive manager, abused me verbally for parking inside the facility. In the profile the facility doesn't indicate that they don't have a parking lot.He didnt care to apologize and I would recommend someone else to experience abuse while spending their own money on this facility

Worse experience ever! I am really surprised this place has high reviews as their information is completely misleading. Stay away if you want to actually enjoy your holidays. Instead, if you want to have to walk 20 minutes via dirt road and vehicle road in order to reach the nearest beach, whilst the property claims to be beachfront, eat touristy tasteless overpriced food, have no access to shops or bars and stay by the pool all day long, this is the place for you. As the property's online information states it's beachfront and the location indeed seems as such, we booked it for my birthday. It's interesting that upon arrival although the sign at reception says payment is upon departure, we were asked to pay immediately. Only then they disclosed their true 'beachfront'. The property is on a cliff and the beach access is only during low tide via a dump wet tunnel, where you reach a coral 'beach', not a sandy one. This is NOT what I imagined when booking a beachfront property. In the end we had to take tuk tuks or walk via an unpleasant walk for more than 20 minutes each time. Although we asked to pay for one night and leave as this isn't what we booked, they refused. Their 'compensation' was a cake and wine which was offered prior to arrival as a special request, and massage which needed to be coordinated with reception, but they were never there to do so. Maybe a better approach would be to respect a person's request to not stay as you provide incorrect information. My birthday was ruined due to this. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else in order to enjoy your holidays with no hassle.

-My room was so spacious, I was solo but the bed could fit 4 adults comfortably.lol.
-The staff are always on standby to assist if you need anything.
-The breakfast menu is vast and has good options to pick from.
- It's quiet and ideal for that quiet, undisturbed vacation time.
-Showers have both hot and cold water.
-A bidet is also provided in the washroom.
The Google map location PIN isn't accurate but the staff promised to work on making it accurate.

This place is amazing. It's perched right on the edge of the cliff, with uninterrupted views of the ocean. There are different outdoor seating areas, a spacious bar and a comfortable restaurant with a games section. The place is very well maintained too, with lovely staff and a beautiful swimming pool. The rooms are big and comfortable and have absolutely huge beds!
I would highly recommend this place to anybody and would love to stay here again myself.
There were a few minor details, but the management were on the ball and immediately took my feedback on board, so there are no negative points worth mentioning.

The rooms are very spacious and neat. (Sleeping area)
The food was good.
The view of the ocean was breathtaking.
Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Good atmosphere for singles or couples.
Too many mosquitos. Bathroom facilities need repair.
Management brought friends to party one night with booming music until the early morning. No prio information nor apology to guests. That's a NO GO!

Breakfast was excellent. I had a choice of egg (I chose to have a Spanish omelette every morning!), toast, fruit salad, tea/coffee and sausages. Benson served me usually, with discreet attentiveness and always with a genuine smile. The setting of the breakfast room was ideal, overlooking the Indian Ocean ceaselessly throwing rollers at the reef in the distance.
It was incredibly peaceful and quiet (sometimes too much, particularly in the evenings, but that was due to the time of the year and the elections being held in Kenya during my stay). The décor was to die for: the rustic appearance was created by using local timber and coconut products; the designs were well thought out (as you will see in some of the photos).
In the room the bed was oceanic and very comfortable. The cleaning crew were always discreet and attended to the room everyday.
Anthony, the barman, was very informative and always ready for a chat, be it about politics or events or landmarks in the locality. He arranged a tuk tuk driver for my stay. Alfred was a treasure. He took me everywhere and was always available.
Every member of staff, downwards from the manager, were courteous and genuinely friendly. They were really happy to have me there!
Nothing. Everything was perfect. There was a little problem with the shower, but the staff attended to it promptly and the manager offered me a free upgrade if I wanted it. I declined because I was already settled in the room.

Scenery was good, staff was friendly and Watamu pizza was very good!
lack of electricity, water and food variety. one night I had to sleep without electricity and needed to charge my devices. also the selection of food is very limited and took a long time, above 1 hr to be prepared.

I’ve stayed at this property twice now and it’s always a wonderful experience. The staff Eric, Jackie, Emmanuel, Riziki and Antony are super helpful and everything we needed was taken care off even though we travelled off-season.
The location is amazing and having access to the water was very convenient.
most other facilities are a quick drive away and we’re easily accessible with a Tuktuk or car which the hotel arranged!
