A lovely property and the team working there are very welcoming and helpful.

Very calm area, super modern rooms, nice place

Quiet and very relaxing. Traditional Sicilian food. Lovely staff. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and welcoming. Bed and pillows were excellent. We felt very well looked after and we’re given very personal service.
Nothing really. The road to the property might be slightly challenging for nervous drivers as it has a couple of tight corners on steep bends.

Stunningly restored country house with gorgeous touches everywhere you look. Domenico, Mara and Giuseppe went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had the most delicious dinner on the terrace and enjoyed meeting the chef, who clearly takes pride in her craft. The rooms were well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful and well- maintained gardens in a spectacular country setting.
Don’t let the drive put you off

- Kindness of the staff
- location and overall design
- Calm
- Quality of the room (bed, bathroom...)
- Design of the pool contrast a bit with everything else (less amazing)

No words could describe how wonderful this place is! It's just a true jewel and one of the best places we have stayed at.
From extremely friendly and helpful staff, through a beautifully designed and renovated historical buildings to the most delicious dinner we had in Sicily. It is a family business and you can really feel the level of attention to details they have to make their guests' stay unforgettable.
Located in a calm rural area, surrounded by an olive grove. A very convenient location to explore the coast and the Valley of the Temples. A car is needed and the road to the property may be a bit challenging but it is really wort it.
Do not hesitate to book a dinner (vegetarian option available and a good selection of local wines) and, if only the weater is good, enjoy it outside. It's magical. The chef Adriana is a star! I am also very grateful for such a great dining experience. I am allergic to some of the most popular products in the local cuisine and they we able to accommodate it and made me feel very safe.
Huge thank you to the amazing staff and above all to Mara and Domenico who created such a wonderful place and were the best hosts!

Lovely hotel with excellent dinner and breakfast. We were really well looked after. Room was well appointed and comfortable and the pool was lovely.
Road to the property can be a bit scary.

Quiet and relaxing. Staff was great.
We rented a handicapped equipped room because my wife walks with much difficulty. although the room was great getting to the room involved climbing steep stone stairs so a handicapped room should be higher up in the building than where it is presently located. This is our only negative comment.

gorgeous, remote

Just perfect. Really professional and friendly staff. The location is beautiful. The reading corner under the olive trees is unbeatable. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and perfectly combine tradition and modern comforts. Breakfast is a 10/10. Absolutely recommended also to dine there, really intresting menu for a really good price. Too bad we only stayed there for one day. I hope to come back very soon

Peaceful location on top of a hill fully integrated with the surrounding nature. Nicely decorated common areas such as breakfast room/restaurant, as well as cozy spots by the shade in the whole garden. OK breakfast. Friendly staff.
At first sight, the property is a beautifully renovated old mansion, composed of several well-connected blocks hosting several rooms each. However, in my view it lacks basic comfort to be considered a 4-star accommodation. Aside from the lack of proper cleaning of the bathroom upon our arrival in the room - WC had visible stains of dirt but mistakes sometimes happen and the staff immediately provided to remedy the situation - three factors made our stay a negative experience at this property:
1. We were requested not to throw any toilet paper in the WC but to put it in a bin. I understand this might depend on a particular waste system but it is leads to a certain unease for those expecting a 4-star kind of comfort like me.
2. Rooms could have been better insulated from the ground. Upon rainy days, water infiltrated from the soil through the tiles in different parts of the room.
3. The hotel restaurant is a handy place for guests to have dinner, since the hotel is located on top of a steep, dirt track with very little lighting. However, the restaurant appeared very pricey to me (prosecco for 15 euro/glass and dishes for 20-25 euro) especially if compared with the average of Agrigento area (including fancy places), perhaps because of lack of options nearby. Cuisine was good but service was improvised, certainly not up to professional standards. Value for money a bit upsetting.
Overall, I found this hotel nice on the appearance but disappointing when scratching the surface. Not a second time.

Hidden gem!! Beautiful property and owners Mara and Domenico works very hard to give visitors the best stay as possible. We only stayed one night but wish we could stay at least a few days. Breakfast was amazing.
Only 20 minutes or so to The Turkish steps, 15 minutes to the Valley of the Temples.
Oh, the bed and pillows are more comfortable than “ Heavenly Westin “
We didn’t stay long enough

Mara +Domenico have rebuilt an amazing , tranquil, very comfortable Haven / Borgo on the top of a hill. No small feat. Wonderful ,gracious helpful hosts. Close to Agrigento, but serene and lovely. Food very good, dinner + wines superb.
We had 3 happy , quiet nights in the Mennula suite. Spacious, thoughtful, beautiful wood furniture in rooms and dining room.
Nice pool + garden space. Bed, towels all new, and super comfy. Want to return soon. The stars above complete this dreamy place.
The country road uphill at night is a bit rough. No lights on road. Adventurous, not dangerous.
Be sure to get back before sunset and have Dinner at the Borgo.

Great ambiance, very good breakfast, staff, internet, facilities. Really good restaurant, but, as expected for the small number of guests, limited choice.
Somewhat remote location.

It was a pleasure to be here in all regards. Thank you for the friendly service, the amazing breakfast and the awesome dinner.
Nothing at all to complain about, everything here is 5 star quality.

Breakfast was great - eggs how you like it - with delicious pastries lots of options to choose. Highly recommend booking a reservation for dinner - each night we enjoyed a great dinner and a nice bottle of wine - highly recommend
It's a bit of car ride to the villa and at night very dark - I would recommend having dinner at the villa so that you can enjoy some adult bevvies and not have to worry

The evening meals were incredible. We were initially worried it would not be easy to eat elsewhere. But needn't have been, some of the best food we had in Sicily.
4.8
Amazing countryside property, perfect location to visit The Valley of the temples. absolutely beautiful and well appointed, newly done. Food was also excellent. The hosts are amazing. definitely worth a visit.
it was all perfect.

Beautiful place and room, the person who designed it had a great taste, amazing dinner and breakfast using quality local ingredients, friendly staff. Really tranquil location in the middle of olive orchards. Very close to Scala dei Turchi and Agrigento, just a short drive.
There were a few minor things like no free welcome water (which was something we found in every other accommodation in Sicily during our trip), missing price list for the minibar, house instructions only in Italian or no extra blanket in colder months. For this price category it is a pity. There was also one thing connected to the design, it felt like the form was more important than the function in some cases. For example, the switch for restroom light turned on the light above sink which was pretty much in the bedroom. If you want to use the restroom at night and don't want to wake up your partner, you have to use your phone. The minibar was put in a wooden cabinet which was so tight that there was literally zero space around the minibar to open it comfortably.

the calm, the amazing work Mara and Domenico did restoring this ancient Inn. the team is really hospitality professionals, the food is amazing. the attention to details. And above all their story 🤍
the road is a little bit bumpy but it’s not a big deal.. imagine how people used to reach this place on horses..
4.8
exceptional hospitality . Beautiful place . lovely , friendly owners . Great food and ambience.
It was the best agriturismo that we stayed in during our 2 week driving tour of Sicily.
Nothing . some reviewers mentioned the poor state of the approach road but we didn’t have an issue . We
heard that the road should be refurbished soon.

Sometimes you don’t understand the rating at the booking.com site. But Borgo delle Pietre really deserves a 10. A wonderful restored, very comfortable borgo. A very friendly staff. The diner was the best Sicilian food we had so far. Great hospitality.
It was fully booked, so we could not stay longer.
