Nice Property

Great communication prior to and after stay. The house was cosy, equipped with all the necessary amenities including a fridge freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, making it very convenient for our stay. It was also eco-friendly regarding heating, which was a pleasant surprise. We appreciated the lovely touches like the welcome pack, area guides, and the availability of bikes. Plus, parking right outside the home was a definite bonus!

The only downside was that the oven had not been cleaned, showing evidence of previous use. Additionally, the front and back doors were a bit difficult to close tightly, requiring a firm pull, whilst being mindful of the neighbours.

Well worth the stay and will definitely stay again!

This is a great little cottage for a single traveller or a couple. Its finished to a very high standard, very cosy, immaculately clean. The addition of the welcome package and fresh flowers was such a nice touch.

I have nothing negative to say :)

Great cottage and a brilliant area.

Lovely little self-catering cottage on a very quiet street but minutes away on foot from Wigtown centre. The owner Julie was very welcoming and kept in touch via text message. The cottage was in superb decorative order and spotlessly clean. Everything needed for a stay was provided including a tasty welcome pack, hand soap, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tabs, tea towels, etc. There was a good selection of walking leaflets and books for the area. A handy passageway set up for drying was surprisingly effective for drying out walking boots, rucksack, etc. Wigtown makes a great base for exploring the fascinating Galloway area and there are numerous great walks.

I wonder it would be feasible to provide a small dining table underneath the TV as a replacement for the current setup of the bar stools and kitchen counter?

Great accommodation, would stay again

Very clean with all the facilities we needed. Outside space was lovely and we managed a few BBQ’s. Communication with host was good and we were given a lovely welcome pack on arrival.

A lovely relaxing stay in a beautifully appointed little cottage.

The welcome pack was just perfect. There was lovely outside space. Although on one of the main roads in Wigtown - you would never have known when inside the house - it was serene and comfortable.

Perfect in everyway for a romantic getaway.

The host was amazing. Absolutely noting was too much. The arrival hamper was wonderful. The cottage is fantastic. We will be there again. Thank you for everything that you did for us.

Excellent place to stay

Felt at home straight away. Very comfortable cottage, well equipped and thought-out. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Good to have text message contact with Julie, who looks after the cottage.
