Lodge 27 Roomy Condo with Gear Storage Onsite
Lodge 27 is a roomy two story 2-bedroom and 2-bathroom condo perfectly suited to make this your home base for any Gorge adventure that you desire. Downtown Hood River is at your fingertips and within minutes you can enjoy the array of eateries, coffee houses, boutique shops, wineries and breweries. The waterfront is also within close range and offers something for everyone, whether you choose to spend the day windsurfing, kiting, stand up paddling, or enjoying the family friendly park and beach.
The high ceilings and open floor plan of the main floor lend itself to cozy gatherings. The kitchen is stocked with all the amenities needed to whip up something delicious. The deck off the living room is perfect to enjoy the eastern view of the Columbia River while sipping your morning coffee or enjoying your evening cocktail.
The two bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom is roomy with a large walk-in closet and a king-sized bed and also a twin trundle bed that can also be converted into a second king bed. The bathroom is shared by the second bedroom which has a queen-sized bed. The laundry room and bathroom can be accessed through either bedroom. Each bedroom has a Smart TV with Roku. The second bathroom is downstairs.
The landing off the bedrooms is a light airy space that overlooks the downstairs or enjoy the view while you gaze out of the windows. It is a wonderful spot for people of all ages to work, read and play.
There is gear storage onsite – it is a tall closet that works for windsurf and kiting gear, skis and snowboards. This space is locked so your toys are secure. Bikes will not fit into this space – bikes can be locked to the railing outside the condo. The shared lawn area is the perfect place for kids to play, hang out in a lawn chair or stage your gear for the day.
The Hood River Valley is known for its luscious apples, pears, cherries, peaches and other fruits, and for the view of the majestic snowcapped peak of Mt. Hood. People from all over Oregon make an annual trek in the fall to the many farm stands to stock up on fresh apples and pears. Other produce is available and varies by season. Hood River also offers award winning Vineyards, Breweries and Distilleries.
The Mt. Hood region and its more than sixty miles of forested mountains, 77 waterfalls and myriad lakes and streams are a rip-roaring mecca for outdoor adventure. The mountain is home to four ski areas and offers the country's only year-round skiing and snowboarding.
