Highly recommend over the ocean front property

My wife and I had an excellent experience. Coco made it especially great with her great customer service. The staff who prepared the food was also great and considerate. The rooms are clean, and the cleaning staff was very caring. We decided to stay here, away from the oceanfront properties because most of the reviews about the oceanfront properties, mentioned how outdated they were, not very clean, and ocean view was the biggest attraction, oppose to cleaness, comfort and service. I understand the allure on that for young couples, not that we are terribly old. After looking at the oceanfront properties when we got to the boardwalk, we were happy that we stayed here, opposed to any of those properties. It looked hideous with all of the beach towels and bathing suits hang off the balcony. At the Fairfield Inn property, we got a peaceful night sleep as it was quiet, and it was a very short drive to all of the attractions in the surrounding areas And this was one of the highest rated hotels in the area. My wife and I preferred to go to the attractions, opposed to being in the middle of it, with the noise and everything. This will be our hotel of choice when we return back to Viginia Beach.

One particular front desk clerk was rude. But Coco and her awesomeness made up for it.

Will be there many times again

This hotel is fairly new. From entering it gave a great vibe. There’s a brewery section and it was lively with guests but not noisy. Very nice decor. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent. Super clean and well tended. I am very critical of hotel services and this particular Fairfield was outstanding. There’s free parking and plenty of it.

Breakfast was good.

Room lighting sucked for us handicapped. The shower was not safe to use. Only 2 handicap spots by the front entrance . No ice on my floor the 5th, why?? Almost 300 for one night and no free premium channels or wifi, what a ripoff.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites was an excellent base while we completed some unfinished matters.

Convenient location - so near VaBch Town Center, restaurants and shops. Access and parking were exceptionally easy. Although breakfast offerings weren't expansive, everything was quite good. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I was disappointed I couldn't find MSNBC on TV at the hotel.

Veronica who checked us in was the most helpful and kind staff member in the entire facility. Everyone should be trained

There was one staff member who was rude to my husband regarding the policy for the snacks area. She really was not professional. I wish I knew her name to fully report her because she needs additional customer service and hospitality training.

It was good for a one night stay for a concert. Rooms were up to date and very clean.

Rooms are small for the price over 300$ for one night, advertised as city view but all we could see was grass

WONDERFUL!

I loved the staff! They were PHENOMENAL!!! They were courteous, friendly, willing to help, and most of all they acted liked they loved their job. Everyone I encountered was great from Taye, to the cleaning lady across the hall who assisted me, they were great. But let me tell you about VERONICA. SHE SINGLE HANDEDLY made me a fan of this hotel. This woman checked me in, multitasked, had conversation with me and small talk and helped two other people all without making me feel like I wasn’t her number one priority. She’s the jewel of this hotel and whatever y’all paying her it’s not enough. DON’T EvER let this woman go. I can’t say enough good things about her.

I enjoyed my stay but won’t be back until the water pressure issues are fixed.

Good location and friendly employees.

The room was very clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. There was ample place to park our car. The breakfast was nice. There were hot and cold breakfast choices. The employees were all very friendly and helpful!

After our first night we showered and used our clean towels. A tag said if we wanted clean towels to put the dirty ones on the floor and we would receive clean ones. We stayed at the hotel for three nights. We never received clean towels delivered to our room. In fact we never received maid service in our room. We had to ask at the front desk several times for clean towels and the woman at the desk said this hotel is not a full service hotel. She said the maids only service the rooms every other day. We never had maid service in our room. Our dirty towels laid on our bathroom floor all 4 days while we were there. For the price we paid to stay there I feel we should have had maid service.

With the exception of the bathroom water pressure my stay was very pleasant and comfortable.

The breakfast was good. Of course, it still suffers from all the COVID precautions that are still being used with food packaging and no fresh food cooked on spot. The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable which really benefited my family during our travels. We would stay here again.

THE BEST

Exceptional facilities from the moment you walked in including our room. I understand this is a new build from April of this year. The indoors and outdoors property was exceptional. Really close to our conference center and everything that you needed was right there from restaurants to shopping centers and night life. I love the personalization as you can see on the TV and the willingness of the hotel staff to help you with whatever you need.
