Myself and my daughter had a fantastic stay at the Irides. The family run hotel has a warm and friendly feel, everyone is more than happy to help and give advice on day trips out, call taxis, recommendations on restaurants etc a short car ride from Aegina town with lots going on but the hotel itself is set back in a calm quiet location. The best of both!
Thank you again!

Very quite place, about 5 minutes drive from Souvala port, were you can find restaurants and bars with a more relaxed atmosfere. About 15 minutes drive to Aigina city and 10 minutes from Agia Marina

Great breakfast, also traditional, yet continental, modern aliments. I enjoyed the most the Greek olives, bread and typical little green peppers, rich jam. Wonderful family that offered us warm hospitality. A little paradise!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect and satisfied all of our needs.
The weather wasn’t great during our stay, so being outside at the pool wasn’t necessarily an option. The walk to town was also far in the rain, so activities were limited.

The familydriven hotel was super. The owners were so serviceminded and all through friendly and Nice. We loved our stay. 20 meters from the pool to a swim in the ocean. The best hotel on the Island. Will for sure recomend this hotel

Beautiful spot. Gorgeous pool area. So relaxing
Felt wasn't geared towards young children - felt that perhaps this should be stated. Felt a little like better for older people / families

A family run place. Spyros his Mother and his wife were very friendly and happy to help. The views are beautiful and the breakfast was very nice.
They don't serve meals in the hotel, there is only a bar that will offer some snacks or a Greek salad but that is all. For a proper meal you will have to go to a nearby taverna but you won't be disappointed their cuisine is excellent.

Incredible views, pool area comfortable and relaxing, walk out on the beach to restaurants and fishing villages in either direction, quiet, lovely family, outstanding home made breakfast. They found me a bike to tour around the island and hikes within walking distance of the property. Amazing!
Everything was excellent.

This family-run resort is beautiful, sitting by the sea and offering stunning sunrise views. It’s clean & has a very relaxing atmosphere. Everyone was very accommodating on everything we required, and we will surely visit again.
When we visited due to spring mud-rain the swimming pool wasn’t operational, but it wasn’t very warm to be fair, and we have something to look forward for the next time.
Breakfast doesn’t have the variety you’ll find in a big hotel, but the quality of the local products, and Mrs Dimitra’s different home-made jams makes up for it.

Spyros and his family made our holiday genuinely memorable. They were amazing hosts and were always ready to help us.
Thanks to Spyros, we were able to rent an automatic car at a good price, he also gave us great recommendations in terms of food and both Spyros & his wife, Olga were generally really great to talk to.
We were very lucky to have been at Irides during off-season so we really got to know our hosts and spend time with them during breakfast and late morning/early afternoon.
His mother's marmalade were genuinely tasty. I am not much of a bread/toast person, but I made sure to have them every morning! The breakfast may not have been as extensive compared to other hotels that I have stayed at, but it was more than sufficient (greek pies, biscuits, chesses, yogurt, fruit, deli meat, toast, marmalade) and every morning, we would have freshly made omlette. The coffee too was very good. Spyros would also ways give us a bottle of water to take with us, as tap water is not recommended to drink.
The Irides compound itself; the pictures really do not do it justice as it is absolutely beautiful and you can literally hear the sea sing! The way it has been decorated is very commendable and we loved listening to the stories of how the property has been in the family and been passed down the generation.
It was an absolute delight to stay at Irides and I would highly recommend it.
It was probably because of the off-season their kitchen was not well-stocked. I was looking forward to having lunch and/or dinner at the venue as homemade meals were highly recommended with the host family on the island, by my Greek friends.
The other issue I had was that the room did not have facial tissue, so we had to resort to toilet paper for coughing/sneezing/blowing our nose.
A few days we did not have hot or even warm water, so we had to take very quick lukewarm showers. Though we were told that it was because the day was cloudy and they use solar power, on days that were quite nice and sunny, we could only take lukewarm showers ... However, when we called to ask about the hot water, once it was manually switched on, the hot water was back.

We liked everything about this property right from the moment we arrived, in fact it just kept giving more and more. Greeted by Spyros and his family warmly, clean, fresh and beautiful location and views.
Not to busy and so felt personal to us.
Excellent breakfast, bar and when needed evening meal cooked by the family owners, home made cooking.
Room spacious and clean. Wonderful views of the grounds, hotel and sea.
For sure we will return for the Greek hospitality, a rest around the pool and tranquility.

Tried to think of something but nothing came to mind!

Irides is a family run hotel located right beside the sea in Aegina. It has everything you need for a perfect holiday, what made it really special was the hospitality & warmth of owner Spyros & his gorgeous family. Anything we needed, he looked after. We stayed in a villa which was immaculately clean, the pool is lovely & salt water from the sea. Everything was perfect & can’t wait to go back again & again!
Nothing, everything was great!

Everything was great! beautiful people beautiful location! The pictures don't do it justice. If you like small relaxing atmosphere this is it. Only 20 minutes to Aegina port and 5 minute walk to market. Food was authentic and great service. Spyros was very helpful to book our taxi's and anniversary dinner was the best! Would definitely recommend to stay here the ocean is so blue and private beach is steps away! Family run resort and they all take good care of you!
