We did like everything about the cottage. It was clean, everything was tidy and prepared for us.Even we got some food items in the kitchen which should be appreciated. Robert was helpful as much as one person needed to be.The main thing which has given us a great relax at our stay is the clean and tidy rooms and kitchen as well as the washroom.

There is nothing that we didn’t like but we faced an issue with the electric cooker.Sometimes it was automatically turning off which caused a little bit problem for us to cook.It would be great for other people if you can sort out this issue.

Fantastic cottage with everything you need, sweet little place full of character.

Superb cottage with everything you need, kitchen, washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, comfy beds, soaker tub, nearby co-op for groceries, even a charity shop up the hill as well as the moor to look over. Enjoyed a lovely terrace with plants all over, the kitty cat visits, we would highly recommend! Amazing stay, we did not want to leave!

Lovely warm cottage, with great view. Comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly communication with the owner. Fabulous Indian restaurant just up the road!

Very friendly owners who let us check out later due to the bad snow conditions. The location was brilliant and not a far drive into Huddersfield centre. Would definitely recommend if you're thinking of staying in Huddersfield.

A quirky great little refuge.

spotlessly clean. Very comfy. I was on the sofa bed in the lounge and it was a good quality one. A welcome pack on arrival was greatly appreciated. Would return.

Simply gorgeous and would love to come back sometime

Everything! Would recommend to anyone to go there :) Welcoming host, great property which was deceptively larger than expected and the facilities exceeded expectation.

Little gem hidden in Golcar full of local character

Excellent little cottage, very comfortable bed brilliant bathroom and kitchen. In a quiet part of Huddersfield be weary of the hills though!! Can’t really find anything to fault Already planning our next visit

Absolutely amazing comfy clean and felt like a home not just a room

That was personal touches that just went along way in regards to the left bread milk and butter so we had something for when we arrived it was very clean and would definitely stay again as it’s close to our family

Wonderful communication with host

We had only booked the cottage but was greeted with fresh milk, bread, butter and cupboards full of dried foods, tea, coffee, sugar even cereals. Spoke to host who informed snowed earlier in the morning, we had discussed going for a ramble and he went to alter the combi boiler to make the cottage cosy for our arrival.

Lovely cosy cottage

What a beautiful quirky cottage, so cosy and homely. We really enjoyed our stay here and wished it was for longer. Everything we needed for our stay was supplied and Robert went out of his way to help us find a parking space. The village was lovely too (you need to be fit to walk up those steep cobbles :-)). The Indian there was fabulous.
