It was clean, close to town, very comfortable
No door between bedroom and lounge

All fine thankyou
Some residents were quiet noisy.

The location was perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions and activities. The room I stayed in was cosy and inviting, providing a comfortable and relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.
One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic common areas. They were well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
I noticed a lipstick mark on one of the cups in the bathroom, which raised some concerns about the overall cleanliness and attention to detail in the accommodation.
Although street parking was abundant, it proved to be a bit awkward due to the abundance of trees in the area.

For my stay I wanted tranquil and it was nice and quiet
It’s always hard to share amenities, a bit awkward and worried being too loud
5.0
Clean, bright and airy.
Easy walk to the centre.
Very responsive host.
nothing it was perfect.

Located very close to main shopping precinct.
Resturants and Cafe also close.
Very quiet area considering the property was so close to town.
Stroll up to main beach, laundry was also a bonus & the garden with outdoor shower was an added bonus.
Everything you need .
This property is a must .

location, nicely decorated, clean bathroom
the room was a bit too small to have two suitcases open and wardrobe is quite small

The staff were excellent at communication, we loved the little touches, such as local company brands used to soap, coffee etc. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The outdoor area was absolutely stunning and a great, relaxing place to sit.
It would be great to have access to more than one towel per person incase you want to wash your hair.

Just a great spot. Close to town to walk but not too close making it lovely and quiet.
I love the ability to have a place to settle and enjoy being able to keep some light food in the fridge for those in between meals.
This is now our third time. We will be back.

excellent location, bright and airy. easy to get everywhere from and good parking.
Cooking limited to just a microwave, kettle and a toaster. This is owners request and is not realistic for the price point this is at or the length of stays. needs a BBQ and is poorer for it. We got access to one but this was begrudgingly provided as the guide stated it had one.

Nicely decorated, well equipped. Excellent central location, taking around 5 minutes to walk to the bars/restaurants. Excellent value for money.
To be picky, our coffee packet was already open and so we didn't get to have any as we weren't sure how long it had been open for

Loved staying at this beautiful little house ! Was a great hop off spot to explore Byron Bay as it’s 5-10 mins walk from everything. Would definitely come back!
nothing - it was all great

The room was comparable to your typical good hotel room. The facilities in the rest of the house were quite good but I really didn't use anything but the kitchen. I think the location is really good it is a short walk to the main street. My main issue is that it was pretty expensive nearly $300 per night, which I think is a little bit expensive for what you get. The other thing I should not is that for the vast majority of my stay I was the only person in the house.
Hard to find things in the kitchen like tea towels etc, later found that I had two in my room. No dryer, but a room and and Mistral fan which I didn't use in the end. Probably not normally an issue but it was wet while I was there.

Great location- central to Byron Bay.

Comfort and Location
Not enough towels
3.5
convenient for bus station and on a quiet street.
nice backyard and kitchen, though you can’t cook.
There’s a free washing machine but no tumble dryer, probably not needed usually but rained when we were there!
It’s not a guest house as such as there’s no staff, it’s an Airbnb, they are supposed to text you the lockbox details but apparently they couldn’t as my phone is Canadian. Luckily the cleaner was there when we arrived and he helped us.
Because there’s no staff we couldn’t leave our bags there after check out.
Thought it was a bit expensive for what it was, no housekeeping whilst you’re there.

We really enjoyed our stay, room was clean and very comfortable, kitchen and laundry facilities were most appreciated and we really enjoyed the lovely outdoor space.
The price was high, they were taking advantage of the fact that we arrived in town with out a booking.

Great location, two TV's so both of us could watch something different, handy kitchen & laundry
I wasn't sent an access code prior to check in so had to call the manager at 8pm when I arrived.
Nothing was provided for guests by way of snacks or arrival treats, like biscuits, wine, bread, chocolates etc etc.. at $300 a night, even a bag of cookies for our cuppa would have been nice!
Bed was too soft and hurt our backs after a while.
The shower was a nightmare, sprayed everywhere and was one of those big "rain" shower heads which looks nice, but gave no pressure for washing out shampoo etc, and was very hard to avoid getting hair wet if you didn't want to wash it.. Laundry was handy, however had no dryer, so our clothes (including our own bath towels/mat) took 2 days to dry in the humid weather conditions.
We stayed for 6 nights and didn't get any fresh linen or didn't get our room made up the whole stay.. at the end there was a fair amount of debris on the floor sticking to our feet etc.. would have been nice if we had at least a mid-stay clean..
Other guests parked in our designated parking spot for 2 of the 6 days..

Could not review as they had double booked the room. Was shifted to another premise not within walking distance of the Byron Bay CBD which was the purpose of booking the original location. Had to drive into the CDB which was very inconvenient.

Beautiful house within easy walking distance to the beach and town. Free parking. Comfy bed. Access to house amenities including kitchen (but no cooking), outdoor seating area and full laundry facilities.
only a small gripe but a change of towels would have been welcome, no housekeeping service.

location is prefect also very clean and great facilities

The amenities were amazing and the location was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and accomodating and let us drop off our bags a bit earlier than the check in time because we had a very early flight. The backyard was incredible with sofas with a little swing at the back. Every room had aircon and a tv which made for great entertainment.

Location was good

cute homey feel to the place, in a quiet area, clean and spacious bathroom
communal living and kitchen area
netflix on the tv
a little bit further walk from the beach than some other accommodation but still perfectly fine, check out time is 10am which is a little early

Absolutely a fantastic place! It actually looks like the photos, if not even better. Location is fantastic, 1 min walk to bus station, 3 min walk to main street, 10 min walk to main beach but still in a very quiet neighbourhood. Very easy check in procedure.
We were 4 adults staying in "The Verandah", such cute little cottage with everything we needed and more. They have really thought of every detail! We will be back.
It didn't matter for us, but maybe for a family it could be inconvenient that the kitchenette don't have a sink.
3.5
fabulous location. easy walking distance to beach, restaurants, cafes, shops & of course lighthouse point.
Was not the best equipped property we have stayed at. There was an issue with a pillow (which was quickly solved I have to say). We only had two wine glasses and one glass for water, we should have had at least a water glass each. Also, we had a few teaspoons and no bigger spoons so had to eat cereal with the teaspoons and wash them when we ran out. Battery in smoke alarm needs to be replaced.

Barbara’s guest house is so beautiful, clean and makes you feel like you’re at home. It has everything you possibly need and is much bigger than expected with a beautiful outdoor space you can use. The whole home is so cute and in such a great location, literally 2 min walk from town
we loved it all

Great location away from main hustle and bustle, but only a very short walk into town. We stayed in the Verandah and it was beautifuly appointed room, with extra living area and kitchenette and private entry. Self check-in was seamless with clear instructions.
