Avoid. Stay in a hotel which would have been nicer.

Good location

No shower curtain. Bathroom had a leak and tiles were mouldy. Lounge heater was broken. Photos made apartment look bigger than it was. Really small. TV remote didn’t work until installed new batteries. One towel each which was mean considering we spent £400 for the weekend. Asked for a part refund which was ignored.

cheap place, good location, but not comfortable at all

Great location, place did match the pictures, but overall the place is small for a family of 4

We read that the beds were bad - but did not expect them to be sooooo bad - all 4 of us had back aches We felt we were short on toilet paper, did not get any kitchen roll and a couple of extra towels - we were denied all of the above On the day of our departure, our trains got delayed, so we requested the host to allow us to keep our luggage while the house would have got cleaned - again we were refused so we had to lug our luggage around while waiting for our train Finally, we got charged our security deposit. I had to send a request which got sorted quite easily - just feel the systems are not upto the mark and it gave me a slight scare

Terrible experience, spider nets, dust and cockroaches everywhere.

Nothing at all !

We have rented the house for 2 days. The whole experience was a shocking for us. There were spider nets everywhere and 2 dead cockroaches at the bath. My 4 year old son cried and did not want to stay there. It was impossible for us to find another place at that time so we stayed the first night.. I informed the Pure Stay saying that the room situation is not acceptable and I will not be able to stay the second night. Pure Stay apologise however refused to refund the second night. We checked out the next morning without staying the second night. I have asked couple of times for refund however could not get a positive feedback. Please book a room if you love to sleep with cockroaches and spiders. If not, stay away from this house.

Family week away

Nice inside...easy to park...clean... Central to town..beds ok if a little on small side.. Communication was spot on Also a handy Portuguese bakery next door!

If I had one complaint it could do with a small second bathroom....for five people it got a bit busy!! But apart from that nothing at all..

Amateur and poor quality refurbishment

Microwave, kettle & toaster were new. Kitchen was very clean.

Flat was very cold on arrival; only heating was electric storage radiators which take 24 hours to emit heat. Ventilation was difficult as sash window cords broken; impossible to create a through draft as there was only one tiny window on the entire rear of the apartment. Bath panel secured with rough nails & screws and fell off. Bathroom tiling unfinished. Bath plug ineffective as rubber sealing ring missing.

Well presented flat in a convenient location.

Nicely decorated flat in a convenient location. Co-op 30 seconds walk away. Really friendly & helpful hosts. The double glazing meant you couldn’t hear traffic on the road out the front and the people in the neighbouring flats were not noisy. The Wifi signal was good, and it was great having Netflix and Amazon Prime to help keep my children (who are aged 7 & 3) occupied in the evening. Decent water pressure and room in the second bedroom to put a blow up bed on the floor if required.

The double bedroom is small so there was no room for drawers or a bedside cabinet. The 2 inch high step from the kitchen to the bathroom meant my 3 year old daughter and my partner both tripped up it during our stay. My daughter hit her head on the bath as she fell which was worrying. We resorted to leaving the kitchen light on at night to prevent further accidents.
