Location, quirkiness, cleanliness, happy staff.
No hairdryer
No glass for water which was a problem as I take medication that needs to be dissolved.
No lift, but the building is too old for one.

An amazing ancient building well located near the central Plaza . The rooms were basic and varied in size and daylight and you need to be fairly fit to deal with the stairs especially with baggage , but it was full of character . No facilities as such and It's not for anyone who wants a modern average hotel but we four loved it .
Initial impressions on arrival were a little unsure as the hotel is above an 'interesting' bar' and the entrance is upstairs through a door beside the bar . It suited us fine - we were able to park our motorbikes nearby and it was very close to the centre with bars and restaurants .
Initial impression on arrival was 'unsure ' but soon dispelled

The bijou style
My friend was not happy with the smaller bed and blanket which made her itch.
It would have been better to have twin beds the same.

We had a good experience, the building is a very old inn and the owner was friendly!
The room was quite small, understandably as the building is old. Great for one or two nights stay to explore the town. We loved Teruel!

Really cool hotel above a lively bar in the old stables. Super atmospheric, nice staff, good beer and they had a place to put our bicycles overnight. Right in the centre of the city.

It is basic. But it’s rustic and adds to the experience. You pay for what you get. B

Fantastic location in the centre of Old town. Perfect service from staff. Clean and comfortable bed, lots of original features in this 16th century inn. Great bar below with lots of character.
No lift and not enough storage space for clothes. No wardrobe, need at least some shelves etc. Only 1 key per room which resulted in noisy guests banging on doors in the early hours to get into their rooms. It was a fiesta weekend so maybe it's not a problem in normal circumstances. Otherwise, we loved it all

Amazing centuries old building. If you appreciate the historic value of the building you will like the stay. Do not expect anything fancy, but given the price this is an excellent place to sleep.
If you are a picky sleeper bring earplugs.

Excellent location, a walk to the main sights of a historic town that has seen so much history.
We loved the history of a charming hotel, with its big spacious rooms, comfortable beds and the bar downstairs making us think of Hemingway when he visited.
WIFI a little slow, but minor consideration compared to the strengths of Fonda.

Location, because It is located next to the wall, within the walls. The bathroom has a balcony and the room preserves the ceilings of the time.
The access

Quirky quiet very comfortable
Hot water tap was only a trickle. Shower difficult to manage, small and slippery

Very quirky!! Totally original!! WiFi in rooms, private bathroom, antique furnishings. Very uneven floors 😂😂😂
Nothing, but those expecting 5 stars should go elsewhere! No lift, but we didn’t expect one.
