Location was very rural so nice and quiet but it did mean you needed to drive to get to any amenities.
The house itself was really nice and comfortable with large living spaces and lots of interesting nooks and crannies
Just a couple of minor quibbles. For a family of six the fridge needed to be bigger and when in the shower at night the automatic lighting which kept going off was not helpful.

Delightful property with lots of space both indoors and out. Very comfortable with good facilities. Good car parking. Hosts very helpful and excellent communications.
Very minor - another tea towel would have been good.

The decor was beautiful, the beds were comfortable.. the gardens lovely and we really enjoyed star gazing in the large garden.
There was nothing we didn’t like. A couple of our group said how wonderful it would have been if there was a hot tub here, but of course, that would be costly for the host to run.
We did have one issue though.. we had to vacate the house late at night on our last evening due to the log burner churning out heaps of smoke and the carbon monoxide reading being dangerously high.. although that was a bit of a nightmare, we would not hesitate to book the property again.

This house is ideal in many aspects, location, equipments, decoration..it enabled us to rest after busy days discovering Brighton, London...
Our children enjoyed playing in the garden and observing Rabbits..it felt like a Beatrix Potter's décor. The Host and managing team made us feel welcome and all our needs were met.
We highly recomand this pretty home !

Large garden for the dog
Difficult access from main road and lack of 2 pin electrical shaving points

Very comfortable bed, good night’s sleep. Host had left milk and mineral water which was very welcome after a long hot drive. Very welcoming helpful host. Would make a good venue for a DIY writing retreat!
There was nothing I didn’t like.

The house is awsome, really cosy and confortable.... special, price for the sofa.
Really nice kitchen as well....and we were able to cook good french food, amways better than fat dirty burgers, in hotels :-)
Really a good house, i felt really well inside, we will probably come back here.
We had too the chance to meet Caroline who is so nice and smart.
A just little remark : it's a bit difficult to find the house by night, GPS sent us in the nearly town but not at the right place.

The house was beautiful inside and out and so tastefully decorated. Thank-you for putting the heating on for us. Wish we could have stayed longer!
My only very small gripe was that the 2 frying pans had seen better days...non stick coating coming off. Also need some plastic utensils to protect pans if you replace them.

Beautiful house and garden, very comfy beds, everything thought of.
Would have liked some kind of welcome pack, apart from a few sachets of milk there was nothing ie bread/butter/wine,

very high standard facilities
beautiful kitchen, and garden.

The house is charming and all the facilities are of a very high standard. I am only sorry that the nature of our visit meant that we were not able to spend more time there and make better use of everything, especially the pretty garden
Unfortunately my satnav did not take me to the front door, as others are said to do, so I had to phone my host and ask her to act as a signpost. Even then, finding the entrance when returning home in the dark proved challenging!
