Great holiday, great accommodation.

Location of apartment was brilliant for everything, quality of the property and its contents was great and it had everything you could need. Hosts checked in to se Eid we were in and were available if we needed anything, we would defiantly stay here again when in Lyme Regis.

There was nothing we didn’t like here, all was very good.

Fantastic apartment.

Stayed for a short week at this fabulous apartment in the heart of Lyme Regis. Fully equipped, very spacious including a terraced private back garden. The location cannot be better. Very quiet area basically just 1 minute from the beach. Super clean and very tastefully decorated. Also met and spoke to the sweetest and most helpful housekeeper. When arriving there was also a nice welcome gift waiting in the kitchen. All text communication with the owners were answered within minutes which is very impressive. Overall the best accomodation that I have ever stayed at, all considerations included, and definitely exceeding our expectations. Traveling by train from London to Axminster and then by bus from Axminster to Lyme Regis. Trouble free and easy journey. Travel along the coast (day trips and longer) is very easy with the Jurassic Coaster (First Bus). I would like to thank Leesa and Gary for giving us the opportunity of experiencing this historic building.

Pretty perfect

Superbly furnished apartment, stylish and extremely comfortable. Spotlessly clean and messages from the owners made us feel very welcome. Fabulous location, 2-3 minutes to the sea and less to pretty cafes, shops and bakeries. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful, well located place that we would highly recommend

This place exceeded our expectations. Very well equipped, decor was lovely, place was spotlessly clean (cleaner was very friendly and informative!) it is located in a very convenient location just a stroll from the beachfront and shops/restaurants. The owners were very attentive but not overbearing, just with handy information that we might need. All in all we would definitely come back.

There was nothing we did not like, just the good old British weather :-D

Stunning, historical Lyme Regis penthouse.

A stunning, historical property, 2 minutes from the beach in Lyme Regis. Beautifully decorated and with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. Really comfortable beds too. The house is so quiet and cosy. Can't wait to visit again. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a lovely, relaxing holiday.

Comfortable with a touch of luxury, good value for money.

Very comfortable, great location and really well equipped. The kitchen is impressive and even though we cooked infrequently it had everything you would need for full on catering. Exclusive access to the lovely patio was a bonus (it’s bigger than we expected from limited photos). Not the biggest place but beautifully decorated - a cut above!

Parking to unload is a bit tricky but normal for Lyme Regis I expect. But provided free parking at Charmouth Rd car park worked well.

Perfect accommodation and fabulous location

A perfect location nestled in the heart of Lyme Regis. You can feel the history of the house and the apartment is furnished so eloquently, with everything you need for a home from home experience. Communication with the hosts was impeccable and always at hand and helpful. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning

A hot tub in the garden would be fabulous, but there wasn’t anything we didn’t like, it was amazing.

Fabulous, luxury upmarket apartment

The Duke of Monmouth is a gorgeous apartment, stylishly decorated, very comfortable, well-equipped and situated within minutes from the sea front and local pubs, restaurants and bakeries in the centre of the old town of Lyme Regis next to all the things we wanted to see (the Lyme Regis Museum, Dinosaurland, the high street, Mary Anning's grave, the Town Mill brewery and the Fossil Shops) The history, decor and grade II listed features make it extremely atmospheric too. It has a lovely large patio garden which we even used in October. It was perfect for us and it was a great pleasure to come back to our magnificent apartment after a busy day. We shall really look forward to returning before too long. Brilliant we cannot fault it.

Exceptional

A beautiful, upmarket penthouse apartment in the heart of the historic Old Town Really can't fault this beautiful apartment, everything about it was perfect. It was clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. Having our own private, terraced garden was a bonus and a great place to eat and relax in with sunbeds, bbq, outdoor dining and sofa and a real sun trap even in September. Very short flat walk to the beach yet very quiet residential area. No noise in the evening. It is in the heart of the old town of Lyme and close to the shops, pubs and restaurants. We were very impressed with the owners who answered any questions we had and provided us with really useful information. They arranged the nearby complimentary parking for us. We have stayed in Lyme many times at different accommodations but this was definitely our favourite.
