Hyggelig og personlig atmosfære. Meget hyggelig familie som driver stedet. Fin bakhage å sitte i. Nære sentrum. Enkel og god standard. Fikk parkere våre 2 motorsykler i garasjen. Cafe i bygget.

Cute cabin, memorable stay, kitchen with lots of amenities.
The cabin was a bit too small and the beds were not long enough, so we had to scrunch ourselves to fit.

The toilet on the third floor was broken. I must go down to the basement every time I use it. There is no lift.
The bed light was also broken. When I plugged my mobile phone charger into the other outlet, the adapter burnt out. I could no longer charge my mobile phone. I sent a message to reception. They complained to the manufacturer. They said they have had hundreds or thousands of chargers in the socket and it has not happened before.

Nice place with fun vibe and super host! Halfway between train & bus station and hiking routes start. Fully equipped kitchen, two cafes/restaurants next to hostel.
Veeery soft bed. Also, may be worth knowing there is no lift.

The family who runs the guesthouse was very lovely and helpful.
The location was great.
The check-in and check-out was super easy

This is an affordable guesthouse option in a beautiful region and quaint small town. The hostess is an extremely helpful and friendly person. I saw gorgeous sights near here and had a cozy room to come back to. There are good parking and meal options at and near the guesthouse.

Beautiful location! Comfy and cozy lodging. Friendly and helpful hostess who was very accommodating.

The decor was flamboyant, welcoming, and comfortable. Our yellow bedroom was spacious and the beds comfortable. The only downsides ate that the kitchen is small but that didn't effect us as the hostel wasn't full when we stayed. And the ( very nice) shower rooms are in the basement but there is a toilet on the main bedroom floor..
The owners were very friendly and helpful and they keep the hostel immaculately clean.

Nothing; everything is old, very small bathroom; it is close to the center, but there are other properties just as close, with the same prices (on Kongensgate for exemple)
The owners do not offer what is written in the property presentation; I personally will never return.

I used this place for a couples nights to hike around Åndalsnes. I thought it was in good central location to groceries, and it had an adequate kitchen. I feel like this would be an exciting place to stay in summer when there are more tenants staying at the hostel because there are a ton of great places in the hostel to hang out and meet people. Check-in was very easy and instructions are clear on where to find showers, kitchen/anything else you need. Very clean facilities.
Not much that I dislike. It had everything I needed as a single hiker on the road.
My only criticism was that the radiators were on at full blast when I arrived, which I suppose is better than the room being too cold ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

The motto of this property is "Stay Weird" like it says in several places around the house. The place is weird but in a good way. Clean and hospitable, this hostel is an old house decorated in a rather original manner right in Åndalsnes town centre.

Access to a kitchen, close to station and cable car.Initially view of front entrance off putting however clean inside. Shared bathrooms however worked well as fairly quiet stay! It was the only place available in town so pleased it worked out ok! Supermarket fairly close plus a very nice thai restaurant near the fjord.
Stairs up to room and down to showers.

Everything was so CUTE!!!!! LOVED THE DECOR!

near the train/bus station
The caravan I stayed in is in a deplorable state, the door is not sealed, there are holes where the cold/noise enters. The host (Mrs. Tove Marie) told me that I cannot use the air heater, contrary to the description, because it does not work. If it's hot, it's probably unbreathable inside.
I tend to believe that the host (Mr. Markus, Mrs. Kelli, Marie) is either not sane (asking 60€ for a deplorable caravan) or is mocking the customers.

Kellie the host was so friendly. Her place was so cute with warm interior. The location is also walking distance to the station and center and next to her place there was a nice cafe too. The checkin process was easy and it is also easy to communicate with her (fast response). I would like to recommend her place to stay comfortably in Åndalsnes.
More spot to hang our clothes and towel in the bathroom would be great!

The sink in the kitchen is too small

Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, nice people, convenient location.
Small kitchen and uderequiped, didn't have utensils and the sink was very small

Too many rooms and too small, including 'kitchen' and 'dining room'. Crowded and noisy. Reception as disorganised as the house.

Very small room

Staff is not seen.
The door of the room, which is digitally opened (by code) was - surprisingly and very unfortunately - locked from the inside at night. When we needed to go to the bathroom (which is located outside the room, since it is a shared bathroom), we could not get out of the room !!! We tried -at 5am- calling the staff by phone, and emailed them as well. Response came only after 7am. What if it was a real emergency like fire ??? Management's response to our complaint, that they are sorry and that "problems can occur to human beings" is not really an appropriate response to such a severe and potentially dangerous case !!!

This is a small hostel with 6 rooms. There are only shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. Very close (5 min walk) to the bus station to go to the start of Romsdalseggen hike and 5 min walk from the end of the hike. A few nice restaurants around and a convenience store.
Everything (rooms, kitchen, "lounge") is very small. Our "family room" had a bank bed and three very simple single beds. There was little space for us and our 4 suitcases in the room. The kitchen is not big enough for all the guests of the hostel. It is not suitable for more than 3 people at the same time. There were always people waiting to use the stove (only two hot plates!), microwave or boiler. The fridge was also tiny and definitely not big enough to use for all guests. There was only 1 table for 5 people available, so if someone was using it already we had to wait as there was absolutely no other table in the room or in the lounge. Besides, the kitchen is situated on the 3rd floor, so even if we wanted to sit on the terrasse (which we didn't as it was cold) we would have had to go up and down the stairs several times.
We could not open the window more than 5 cm and it was really bad as with 5 people in the room it was not fresh enough. Also, we could hear clearly people speaking outside our room, which was next to the kitchen, even as late as 11pm.
I must admit it was my mistake that I booked this place, as I did not notice it was a hostel and I normally never book places with shared bathrooms and kitchen. But in the room description that I received after my booking there was a toilet and a shower which made me believe that it was not shared.

Friendly staff, so clean and welcoming, great location
3.5
Charm of an artists' commune.
Facilities are sparse with shared bathroom in the basement and no TV. The price is quite high.
3.5
Contactless check in with an easy procedure. Good bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Great location to leave the car in a park and walk to the Romsdalseggen bus.
3.5
Friendly atmosphere
Bed too short for over 1.80m and noisy.
