Beautiful Villa in Stellenbosch

We were upgraded to a villa for a small cost. It was absolutely huge for the 4 of us. The accommation was lovely. Air cons in all bedrooms but not downstairs....not sure why but it would have been great if there was air conditioning in the main living area. We had our own private pool and the most fabulous braai for bbqs in the evening. The kitchen and dining area and faciltiies were brilliant. The host was always there to fix any issue including an occasional load shedding moment. Very quiet grounds and lots of privacy. All good.

It would have been nice to have an air conditioner in the main living area downstairs. Otherwise all good. Also, there is a venue next door which hosts events eg weddings. There was one wedding where the music was quite loud but it did finish at 11pm so that was ok.

Beautiful Setting with loads of space

The property was in a beautiful setting away from all of the noise of the city. The grounds and the buildings were well maintained. The staff was fantastic and went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were taken care of. Hats off to Dowayne!

At times it took awhile to get an Uber. The staff recommended pre booking our rides when going out to some of the wineries that were farther from town. They even gave us the contact info of a driver we could call directly.

Prachtige farm op goede locatie. Fijn en behulpzaam personeel. De kamer was mega netjes en we mochten de extra faciliteiten van leegstaande kamers gebruiken. (Braai en zwembad).

Great house for a family holiday!

We stayed in the Barn, a stand alone unit with 3 bedrooms. The living room and dining room area was very big and comfortable. The outdoor barbecue and pool was such a nice touch to make the whole stay wonderful.

It’s a very little thing but there was a hair dryer with a plug that fitted none of the plugs in the house (unless I missed it blatantly but I checked all the rooms). There is a wedding venue next to the Barn so be prepared to party it up with the guests until the wedding ends.

A place like no other.

Honestly, one of the greatest places we have ever stayed at. Everybody welcomed us so warmly, beyond expectation. So easy to get there. We really felt like being home. The facility is absolutely stunning, well kept, everything you need, spectacular surroundings. Staff made sure we were ok but kept being very discreet. It couldn't get any better than this. Definitely a place you want to go back to..and we will for sure! 2 minutes from Stellenbosch and all you need. Grocery shop, gas station, restaurants. Thank you so much guys. All we can do is relive it thru pictures now!

Gorgeous property in the heart of Stellenbosch

The property was fabulous. Our host was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we never got to experience the venue its fullest as we had a wedding in the afternoon soon after check in and had to check out in the morning. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the lovely garden and the facilities which were provided.

The living and cooking area of the unit was outstanding. Paul and Dwayne were great hosts and anticipated our needs. The property is constructing a pool for general use which will be lovely to use when it is done.

Great location and views, lovely peaceful setting.

Beautiful views and a quiet location. Very comfortable beds and a nice modern bathroom. A well-stocked shop a short drive away, Stellenbosch only a few minutes further. Very welcoming staff and helpful manager who introduced us to a gorgeous owl nesting on the property with her chick. Will certainly stay here again when we return to the Cape.

Had thought I was booking the two bathroom property, could be clearer on booking.com.

Everything was great! The house is beautifully designed and was equipped with all we needed and more. The house and the farm are much more beautiful from what you can see in the pictures. After we checked in, Paul, the manager of the farm gave us a private tour in the farm. The owner of the farm who was there at the time we stayed, invited us in the evening for a drink of good wine with his family😊. I highly recommend the place.

Phenomenal place, 10/10 recommend

Location was amazing, everything about the interior and exterior was faultless. There was even nice touches like having all the sports channels. We mentioned we wanted to do a barbecue and they (probably Paul!) went out of there way to set it up for us. They were also very kind to allow for early check in and late check out because they had no other guests afterwards which made our lives a lot easier for getting to the airport. Really amazing hosts - thank you!

Fantastic place to stay.

Beautiful environment with spectacular mountain views. Lovely, large modern unit with upmarket appliances. We were provided with lots of wood for the fireplace and outdoor braai!

It is not something we did not like but it should be noted that it is a duplex unit. The stairs to the bedrooms and toilets/bathrooms are fairly steep with no handrail on the bottom half of the set of stairs. Older people could find it cumbersome / difficult.

Exceptional

We only stayed for one night during a business trip, and did not use all the facilities available on the property. The rooms were very nice and we cannot complain about any of the facilities we used.
