About this apartment rental
Horse-Drawn feels like a real home. It’s bright and welcoming, and as it’s been designed as a place to live, rather than one to rent, you don’t get the glitches that sometimes pop up in the latter. It also means that the kitchen is really well equipped – it's easy enough to whip up a decent meal to be enjoyed as a group in the charming, light-filled dining room. There are a few signs of age on the walls and floor, but these don’t detract in any way from the overall environment. In fact, we think that's what makes this 17th-century home – take in the original features from the get-go. Whether you're enjoying a good book by the fireplace or eating lunch under the exposed beams, you'll feel immersed in the heart of the world's most ancient city. We love how the pops of purple and green, abstract artwork and book-filled shelves make this spot so cosy and inviting after a day spent sightseeing. With the Castel Sant'Angelo and Piazza Navona right around the corner, as well as Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps under a twenty-minute walk away, the delights of Rome are right at your doorstep.
Home truths:
*This is a lived-in home so expect to share the space with some of your hosts' belongings
*It's in the historic centre of Rome where the streets are narrow, so the windows overlook the building opposite
*There's air-conditioning in the bedrooms as well as the communal areas
*The host provides a travel cot and high chair upon request
*Weekly cleaning and linen change are included for longer stays (over a week)
