Turn off the beaten track through a surplus of olive trees, maples, oaks and cypresses, and escape from reality by tucking yourself away in the remote Umbrian hills – perfect for larger groups seeking serenity and calm. The home is steeped in tradition, comfort, and authenticity with wood-beamed ceilings, stone flooring and veranda shaded dining areas. Decorated with plenty of Italian passion in mind, the interior benefits from dark wooden furnishings, antique rugs, ceramic pots, and homely touches that create a cosy and warm ambience. Outside, meander through the rolling hills, float idly in the glistening infinity pool or dine alfresco on the patio with local produce and vino. If you can bear to leave your Italian abode, beautiful Perugia is a 20-minute drive away, with a host of vineyards and wineries even closer. To stay here is to be connected to the simpler pleasures of the Umbrian countryside, slowing down and adopting the pace of nature with your loved ones. Home truths: *We highly recommend having a car in this remote part of the country – there is plenty of garage and outdoor parking at the villa *The nearest town is 8km away, so you may want to stock up on groceries prior to your arrival *City taxes are not included in the price of the stay *Please take extra care of little ones around the infinity pool, as there is a considerable drop-off edge *Cots and highchairs can be provided by the host – just make sure to request them when you book *Small well-trained pets are welcome at an additional cost *Arrivals between 8pm and midnight are subject to a €80 late arrival fee *Electricity is charged at an additional €130 per week in high season, and €80 per week in medium season
