Minimalistic place to stay in the heart of Tallinn

The location is very good, everything is walking distance

not clean enough, not enough towels ay first, but the owner has brought 2 more at request; the washing machine was there but the owner said he will charge us 30 eur (!) to use it, so we used a public laundry instead. THe TVset (looks like a microoven) dates back the 90s and yet with a complex switching on system which annoyed us since I was travelling with a chid.

For this price it is the best place to stay for several weeks

Great location: 10 minutes walk to ferry terminal, 15 minutes walk to old town. Kitchen equipped with everything. Fast and reliable WiFi. Host is ready to help in case of any problems.

The apartment was true to the pictures.

The arrival was very complicated since I did not receive informations about keybox code before arrival and I had problems with my phone in a new country.

Superb

Ideal for short to medium-term stays with respect to facilities and location. Management responsive to requests for assistance. Very secure, easy access to public transport, food shopping facilities and the Old Town.

Internet on the slow side.

Pleasant

The location is a best one in Tallinn, because I could go to a supermarket within 5 min, a nice bakery within 3 min, a terminal bus station (Viru keskus) within 8 min, a famous cafe (Narva cafe) within 2 min. It was almost quite all day despite being near a big street. So the cost performance is very good comparing to other hotel or apartment around here.

This room should be more clean. I have weak skin, so I had some trouble.

Perfect "rent-a-flat" for (sem-)professional trips - but also close to Tallinn's night life :-)

Our host was very welcoming and helpful, letting us check in much earlier than it had been agreed on (after a 32 hour car ride from Cologne, German to Tallinn) and made everything else really easy for us - including some spontaneous "on-the-spot" special requests :-) The apartment (apparently a former travel agency office) is very spacious and the little "working corner" was perfect for my wife since she actually had to work on 3 of the weekdays there, including video phone calls with customers for which the flat offered a very professional looking background! The very central location allows for exploring the city by foot (and for everything else there's always BOLT in Tallinn :-D).

Being so centrally located means in this case being located on one of the main streats - in summer with the windows open I could imagine that this might be a bit noisy at times. We were actually not bothered by it - but then we kept the windows mostly closed since it was still (end of) winter when we stayed there.

Not too bad, but a bit disappointed

I slept quite well in the flat. There was a good amount of room for 1 person. Bathtub was clean

There were no pans to cook. Only 3 pots (one of them with dry food and dirty). The electric stove was very old and it only had 2 burners (but one of them was broken, so you could only cook with one of them). Not enough cookware, just the very basics (a few forks, knifes and spoons)

Superb

Owner was very helpful and responsive to issues. Location was very good - convenient to lots of shops and good food.

Wifi was decent but often became unreliable in the evenings.

Overall, a nice place to stay for a month in Tallinn.

Clean, quiet, reasonably central. My unit facing the courtyard was quiet, pleasant, renovated unit in older building, nice view of courtyard.

Unheated in summer, that's OK, but should have better blankets. Hard to keep warm during summer cold spell at night. Bedside reading lamp could be better. Have proprietor meet you. No sign on building, outside doors are confusing.
