From licks of Farrow & Ball paint, a welcome hamper stuffed full of local produce – and a bottle of champagne no less – to four-poster and half tester beds dressed in Colefax and Fowler floral prints, your hosts have gone above and beyond with quality touches to ensure you relax in luxury on your much-deserved getaway. Start your day with a treatment at the on-site spa so exclusive it was featured in Tatler, followed by a gentle stroll through the award-winning gardens. In the afternoon, sit out on the south terrace with a pitcher of Pimm’s as the kids play with the puppet theatre in their own private den. Retreat to the drawing-room with your book or drift off in the hammock as the chef of your group gets the barbecue going, ready for an evening of good food and even better company on a balmy summer’s night. Home truths: *The kids’ playground, games room, gym, pool and spa are all shared amenities *Your host offers a ‘Parents’ Peace of Mind Kit’, with essentials including baby alarms, electrical socket safety covers, door wedges, bed guards, safety locks for cupboards, children's dinnerware, a cot with linens, high chair and stair gates *Your host has local babysitter recommendations should you fancy a night to yourselves *Due to the home’s remote location, a car is recommended here *A larger party may be accommodated, with camp beds for children as extra sleeping—ask your host for more information *Be sure to advise your host on the number of guests staying so that your welcome hamper can be adjusted to cater to everyone!
