About this apartment rental
Gladiator Reef is not one that will appeal to people who are after neutral tones and understated design. There’s a mix of bright colours all over the place, and this gives the space a bit of individuality. The host, Mary, also pushes the boat out when it comes to service - there’s a daily cleaning service, as well as free laundry, great breakfast options, and recommendations of all the places tourists don’t know about. If that wasn’t enough, it’s also only a few hundred metres from the Colosseum.
Home truths:
*When we visited, there was no lift and the apartment is on the fifth floor. There should be one installed by August
*It's a really small space - there's no communal area apart from the kitchen and balcony
*There's no washing machine in the apartment, though Qu can sort out laundry for you
*Internet allowance is capped at 1GB a day
