I loved that there was a private jacuzzi in the room. The food was INCREDIBLE. The staff was so sweet and helpful. I would 100% come back again and recommend this place to everyone.

in the middle of luxurious nature
external activities are pricey

the grounds were beautiful, a very peaceful and calm place. the staff were so friendly, the activities fun and varied and rooms lovely.

excellent room, very nicely equipped with all necessary things. great coffee facilities
4.8
The room is both homey and luxurious.
The facilities.
The food.
You will not want to eat elsewhere ... food is very expensive relative to CR, but worth it.
4.8
peace and quiet. exceptional staff. great cocktails. spacious accommodation
restaurant and lounge area small and basic. Menu could have been anywhere in the world - lacked Costa Rican flare. cut off and not easy to get out and about due to roads.
4.8
you can enjoy a variety of activities all in one place. food was incredible. attention for details.

The entire place, the room, the staff, the food, the waterfall trails.
It took them almost an hour to give us our room after the check in time (1pm)

The villas are so well designed, and one of our favourite hotel rooms ever, from the rocking chairs on the terrace to the private jacuzzi, we loved our time there! The hotel covers a big area and includes hiking trails (3 waterfalls on site!) and a garden where we saw lots of hummingbirds and a coati. Another perk is the free hot chocolate and cookie which you can take by the fire when the afternoon cloud forest showers occur! The staff were all super friendly, in particular Daniel who was really helpful in assisting with our questions.

The jacuzzi on the veranda of the suite was fantastic. We made use of the facilities onsite - the ‘mystic tour’ of the property’s forest where the guide enlightened us with facts on nature plus led us through a series of exercises to connect with the four elements of water, earth, wind and fire; plus the ‘sound healing’ session at the wellbeing centre. Both of these are highly recommended. The turn down service in the evenings was a lovely touch, and the staff are all incredibly friendly and efficient.
Perhaps the restaurant could offer more traditional Costa Rican dishes?

beautiful property. close to nature. great staff.
meals were bit on the expensive side. no other restaurant options during stay.

one of the most amazing places we’re ever seen. Surrounded by nature, everything is so green and beautiful. the ideal place to relax. the room is amazing, the view is outstanding, the place is so beautiful. we really enjoyed the sounds hilling class in the Spa.
the food is expensive and in terms of value of money- wasn’t that good. in addition, when we asked for more water to the room they asked us to but bottle. I believe that in this price, they need to take care to refill the water.
4.8
the location, the service, the space in the guesthouse, the jacuzzi, the tours on offer, the food and the fireplace in the room.
the bathroom was very cold and especially the stone floor. A heated floor would be excellent.
prices are relatively high compared with other similar places.

A property map was shown at checkin, but was not provided as a handout and wasn't available in our Villa. More accessible maps would have likely made us more apt to explore the property earlier on our stay.

beautiful setting, very comfortable room (jacuzzi was a nice bonus) wonderful staff. Spa was excellent en also had a super yoga session.
our cabin could have used a bit more decoration. walls were a bit bare.

Food was excellent and the Chef was very accommodating for food allergy. The staff were upbeat, polite, and did everything they could for us! Muchas Gracias 😊
If anything, a clear explanation on what to take on excursions and the itinerary. All excursions were great but with a bit more insight we would have been prepared.

Everything, staff, property. Simply just perfect
There was nothing not to like. Just try to get there before sunset
4.8
Beautiful and tranquil location. Food at the restaurant was superb as well.
The road to get there was very windy and steep. But worth it!
4.8
Amazing location! Beautiful views! Everyone there was incredibly nice and professional! We would highly recommend it!
4.8
It was a very beautiful location. We enjoyed waking up with birds and listening to the river flow. Restaurant offers good breakfast options and dinner was great too. During our stay we booked a horse riding experience and I highly recommend it. Also yoga in the middle of the forest was magical! Try their trails, there are waterfalls, river and friendly coati. We stayed 3 nights and it was not enough. Silencio is a great place to disconnect from the world and everyday problems.
The only issue that spoiled our stay were scratches on our car that we rented in Costa Rica. We were worried about it but hotel offered us a coverage. I think it is unacceptable to return the car to the clients in such conditions but problem was sorted thanks to staff.
4.8
The waterfalls were beautiful, the staff was kind, and the villas were very hospitable
Limited dining options, charges for extra services made them undesirable, and the forced schedules for meals were too much.
4.8
The staff was amazing. They helped us with everything to enjoy this unforgettable moment. It's a world class lodge. Everything is perfect from arrival to departure. The restaurant is fantastic and the property is huge with everything you can imagine ( waterfalls x3, zipline, horseriding, spa, yoga etc).
