The house is beautifully situated in the hills and overlooking the Wirrina Cove Marina. We had some frightfully hot days and also days where the wind blew a gale. Lovely to watch the changing seas. The house is spacious and is well appointed and was clean.
The BBQ was not clean, as well as the verandah area, which is obviously used mainly for pets (which we didn't have). No-one had cleaned this area/BBQ for our arrival. We had to clean the BBQ and hose down the area ourselves as, even having reported this to the Unwind agents, they did nothing. On the second last day the gas hot water ran out. There are two massive tanks and when one runs out, the other automatically switches over - except both were empty. In this case Unwind did come to sort it out. When we arrived the garbage bins outside were full and smelly, so there was no room for ours. I would imagine the council must have a setup for disposal of garbage for holiday venues. The ash had not been cleaned from the pizza ovens. It is a lovely house, truly, but just lacking in that little extra care which makes for a good experience.
