The hotel was clean, modern, and located near various eateries at One Loudoun. The hotel has nice technology features, such as the ability to unlock doors and control the lights/TV with a phone app. The hotel has a gym and a small indoor pool.
You can use Hilton's app for a quick check-in and check-out, which makes stay a breeze. NOTE: You still have to visit the front desk to provide a card for incidentals and ready your room keys.

Some of the staff especially in the night shift was very unprofessional. None of the FOB keys worked in the side entrance or the gym or pool.

It was clean and I had a good time, Miss. Julie the front desk attendant was the best so helpful and out going
I wish the had an electric car charging port would’ve made it easier to find a place to charge my electric car

I love the amenities that this hotel offers - always clean. I do wish they would offer a bit more for the breakfast they offer - but it is “free” so can’t complain too much.
The walls are very thin - I was woken up by other guests in the hallways as well as cleaning staff that I could hear working on rooms near me.

I found the rooms to be clean, modern, and stylish. There were several pillow options and the bed was comfortable, if not a bit firm for my taste. The shower had decent water pressure and shower-head settings. The hot breakfast included eggs and a meat, which is ideal for my Keto diet, but seems pretty standard for this level of property. The desk was a bit small, but sufficient for a short working session. The adjustable height office chair was comfortable.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was challenging to get on. It asked me to provide my name, address, etc. with no option to sign in to my honors account until after it checked and saw that the email was already associated with an honors account, essentially wasting my time. It then went right to an upsell to premium internet, something that I thought I get as an honors member, but again there was no login option. I went ahead and paid for it just because I was in a hurry and was getting irritated. Furthermore, I had to do that for each of my 3 devices: a PC, phone, and VR headset (used for working environment, not gaming). And then, I needed to do it all again the next morning. Finally, once I was on, I found a fair amount of lag using video even though I was paying for premium. Overall, a poor Wi-Fi experience. Probably ok for free internet, but this should be much easier and better for honors members or for those paying for premium.

I liked the continental breakfast. the lobby area with the pool table and games. It was a great place to relax. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. I loved the black out shades, added bonus for sure. The pool area was ok but felt dated, it would've been better if it was an outside pool or had direct access to outside so you could take a dip and layout in the sun. Pocket doors would be great 👍🏾.
I didn't like that the pool was cold. they should renovate the pool area, give it a total makeover. Add pocket doors that open up to the outside lounge area. Heat the pool for comfort. I think a bar should be added in the lobby area, jist a daily pop-up bar that offers wine and beer with snacks. It could be something that takes place daily btw 2pm to 4pm or 4pm to 6pm. This would engage the guest more and definitely evaluate the Tru Hilton experience.

The information provided by staff about breakfast hours were vague and caused us to miss breakfast on Monday morning. However, the staff did make extra effort to provide food for us, after 9AM.
The pool was small and always full of rowdy loud teenagers. It was so bad, that even my young son decline to use the pool out of disgust and discomfort. We also asked twice for our room to be refreshed after a few days, but this was not done, until the following day, after I asked a third time.
The cleaning staff turned on the room waking alarm for 6AM, without us asking for this. They did it again after refreshing the room. This caused us to be shocked awake after a long flight and jet lag. We were not business travelers, did not need an alarm, and were not asked whether we wanted it turned on. I took multiple attempts to finally get it turned off. Ruined sleep.

Location was fabulous- close to shops and restaurants.
Breakfast was disappointing. Very average. For a hotel that caters to Gen Z and the environment in their philosophy and decor- get a push button expressio/cappuccino machine for the lobby/breakfast area and do away with all the plastic half and half cream and butter packets. Also start breakfast at 6:00 instead if 7:00. Also let your customers know during checking there is no housekeeping service unless requested.

It’s a good family hotel. Minimal but functional amenities.
When we arrived we were headed to a family function and the hotels power was out - so check in was slower than normal and we couldn’t use things like the hair dryer. The AC was labouring to begin with and when the power went out again in the morning the room got stuffy - and windows don’t open.

Location was exceptional. lobby lounge area, outdoor patio area also exceptional.
And your staff was excellent.
Keys took 3 visits to reception before we were able to access our room, and someone had to come up with a master key & get us new keys.
On the second evening (Saturday), the toilet would not flush. It could not be fixed as there was no maintenance staff. (?) Mason, the wonderful person at the reception desk, offered us a new room. But the thought of having our teenage daughter pack up and move the two weeks worth of items she had unpacked around our room - plus my things, and my husband’s things - we could not do it.
Mason felt terrible, he was able to find a plunger and kindly insisted he try to fix our toilet himself. It didn’t work, but we greatly appreciated his efforts.

Lots of rooms were available and we were paired next to a family that had loud kids at 10 o’clock at night.
