Alles! De prachtige kamer, de uiterst vriendelijke en charmante dame des huizes, het voortreffelijke ontbijt, alles tot in de perfectie.

This place is absolutely amazing! The property is beyond lovely, especially if you adore historic properties and beautiful gardens. Jeanine, the host, is delightful and caring, with great attention to detail, and she prepares wonderful breakfasts. This is one of the very best places we've ever stayed, and it was well situated to all the D-Day sites we wanted to visit. We also drove to Mont St Michel on one day.
This is not a reflection upon the host/property, but a couple of issues that need to be cleared up for your listing. The address listed does not work; we were lost and in another area! The address listed on the property website is: 4 Le Grand Clos, 14400 Sully, France. This address worked for us. The other clarification needed concerns payment. We knew that the property would handle it, but the wording suggests that prepayment would happen (and we assumed via the credit card we supplied to booking.com). The property does not accept credit cards, so we had to get cash at an ATM in Bayeux in order to have payment before we checked out. Not a huge deal, but something that could be better explained during the booking process.

Why haven’t you booked this already? Jeanine offers an absolutely perfect stay in her exquisitely restored home. Spacious, luxurious, friendly, quiet….an oasis from which to explore Bayeux, the D-Day beaches and even Mont Saint Michel. Wonderful breakfasts with Jeanine’s home-made jams and topped off with a special, home-baked treat each morning. Extra-large spacious beds and ample sitting areas both within your suite or within the gardens. Feel like getting pampered?
Absolutely nothing negative to say about staying here.

We loved how it was close to Bayeux but it felt like the French countryside. Close to everything all the DDay sites and restaurants but quiet and with parking. My husband enjoyed birdwatching and added a couple lifers to his list. Madam was gracious and charming! Her breakfast were superb. Homemade jams made with fruit from her orchard. Each morning she surmised us with a cake she made herself and they were fantastic.
Everything was perfect

Great location, rural but Bayeux is easily accessible. Perfect location for touring the D-Day Landing beaches and museums.

This is the perfect place to stay if you have your own vehicle and plan to tour Normandy. The owner, Jeanine is delightful and accomodating. The breakfast was delicious, especially Jeanine's pastries. The property is beautiful, peaceful and historical.
The bed has a memory foam mattress topper. I thought it was very comfortable but it was too soft for my husband who has back issues. If you don't speak French, communication is a bit difficult with Jeanine but you can use Google translate. Property is easy to miss, especially in the dark. Worth the challenge to find it - you won't be disappointed.

Amazing beyond words. Couldn’t have dreamed up a more
Wonderful place to stay, or a more generous hostess.
The GPS couldn’t find the location which led to
Some confusion at the start.

Guests are treated to their own house in the garden of a lovely manor. There is a private area of the garden filled with roses and fruit bushes and a separate private terrace with seating both covered and uncovered surround by roses. The little house is beautifully designed to have everything four people need but not to feel at all cramped. My 3 teenagers and I were extremely comfortable (great beds) and had every facility we needed. The owner is simply a lovely person who does everything she can to make you comfortable and give you local information for any trips you wish to take. We are touring the Normandy landing beaches and she made sure to tell us the best museums and interesting small visits. The studio is utterly peaceful, save for a neighboring cat who arrives like clockwork at 9am clearly hoping to be treated to one of the owner's marvelous croissants. Obviously, this was not a problem for the children. Overall, this is a wonderful place. We feel so luck to have found it.

The homeowner is the soul of the house. So friendly and kind it is unbelievable. Only 2 rooms are available for rent for guests in this large house. It is French lifestyle in perfection. With so many little things in the room like paintings or old dishes you feel like a prince. Also the homemade breakfast was delicious. In the big garden you can see 3 really cute peacocks. It is hard to find a better accommodation like this.
Simply a perfect stay. There was nothing that could be better
