Great location, helpful host, easy walk to town centre, large upstairs space.
Sitting room/kitchen spaces are small.

The venue is located in a beautiful and quiet pocket of Bewdley, away from a main road and as such is lovely and quiet. It's a short walk to a few pubs and the Co-Op and only a few minutes walk across the bridge to the town itself. The house is very spacious and well furnished and highly comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need as well as space, the bedrooms and large and the beds are ultra comfy and warm. It took us a shot while to find the heating (boiler is in the laundry on the 1st floor) but once located the house was nice and warm in no time. Joanne is the perfect hostess and was in constant communication with me leading up to our stay, which was wonderful. If you're looking for a touch of class in this beautiful town, then this is the place to stay!
The only issue was working out which internet service the wifi password for for, as that wasn't written down. Other than that, it was perfect!

It was self catering which worked out very well. Good central location as well.
It was a little different regarding parking, but left the car with family anyway and the location was excellent.

Communication with the owner was non existent. We had elderly people in our party and despite paying the safety deposit in the time stipulated we didn't receive the key code by email as promised and I had to call the owner.

Beautiful furnishings, very ornate. Great location.
Parking difficult.

close to everything Bewdley has to offer.
Parking. we had to pay £6.60 per day, but that’s the drawback of being in the town centre.
only slight issue was the living area is tight for 6 adults.

The location was great and initial communication was good.
The owner requires £250 to be transferred into her account as a deposit. This is unsecured and as the guest you have no recourse if there were to be a dispute. It is mentioned on the listing but not that it is just a bank transfer. It made the one night stay quite stressful. The refund is due back after a week which also feels slightly unnecessary given that it is just a bank transfer. We contacted the owner a few times during the week following our departure and she stopped responding which was concerning. She sent the money back a little over a week later and said that the messaging system was down. It's not the end of the world but just beware of this if booking.

No parking despite saying there is , we had no hot water throughout our stay , host was unwelcoming,

Style of property and furnishings. The noise isolation between rooms of an old property. The quirkiness of the period of architecture. The attention to detail.

The property is beautifully furnished with a real touch of class and luxury! It was in a good location and had everything we needed. Beautiful and very comfortable.
Nothing. It was great!

The house is lovely, with beautiful decor. The location is great .

Beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean and well kept property close to the river and Bewdley centre with easy access to local sightseeing areas and luxurious bedrooms.
When booking it does not make it clear that you have to provide an additional £250 deposit and that you need to provide your bank details to the host to get the deposit back. This information is not given automatically- I had to ask about it.
In addition please be aware there is not free parking on site. There are a small number of nearby on-road parking spots which appear to be used by other residents, so it is likely to be difficult to find somewhere to park. (There are double yellow lines directly outside the property).

The house was lovely, very well put together, clean, warm and welcoming. It is in a perfect location in Bewdley, this is my first time visiting this area and I have fallen in love with the charm of it.
I had a great night sleep, the beds and pillows are comfy and the towels lovely and soft.
There is information in the house with recommendations, we had a lovely Indian and then we popped into the pub on the way home where they had a live band. The locals were friendly and welcoming.

The property was thoughtfully decorated.
I was asked for a completely unexpected £250 deposit after paying £436 for the full stay. I queried this and asked to see where this had been stated in T&Cs as I booked through booking.com so this isn't usual, but wasn't provided with this. On the morning of the stay I paid the deposit as I wasn't provided with access details until I did so and I would have to find and pay for other accommodation otherwise.
On arrival I noticed paint flaking from walls due to damp, a faulty and unsafe electrical plug and loose handrail on the stairs. The property is Georgian so although maintenance was clearly not a first priority I stuck with it. It was 7pm and again I had nowhere else to go! Sadly I was really busy and forgot to photograph these issues. A thing I now dearly regret. The host had already messaged me to let me know there was a faulty light on the first landing which was being fixed after my stay.
Before we left, I was messaged by the host to ask to strip the beds and place bedding and towels in the utility room before we left, as the cleaner had a bad back. Not usual to do your own housekeeping, but I was happy to help and left the property tidy and clean. Later that day I received a call from the host saying she was retaining my deposit as the handrail was loose. I informed her that this had been the case when I entered the property.
I have requested photographs from her but not received any. I have requested my deposit back and made clear this 'damage' was not caused by my stay. The host replied that she had 'the final say'. I have lodged a dispute for 'unexpected payment' with booking.com.
There is also no parking. 4 spaces on the street near the property are for the whole street and there were never any available. Google maps does show a car park near by but this is barriered.

The home had a lovely welcoming feel. The kitchen was well stocked with any equipment needed. The rooms were a good size, beds and linen comfortable. Was lovely to all stay in the same home rather then separate hotel rooms when getting ready to attend a local award ceremony at the safari park.
Only thing we struggled with was parking as we were coming from different areas and so we had 3 cars but this was made aware to us in the booking info.

Lovely cottage in a really convenient spot, near the bridge in the centre of Bewdley. All three bedrooms are doubles with good size beds, ours was huge!
Street parking is difficult everywhere in Bewdley, so only drop-off allowed outside the property.
