A great place to stay :)

The cottage was clean and comfy with plenty of space, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The communications were friendly and helpful and we had all the instructions we would need. The location of the cottage was brilliant, with plenty to see and do, and we had an amazing time visiting and can't wait to book to come back again :)

Very enjoyable stay and would recommend to friends.

Surprisingly spacious property. Excellent location metres from the main street with easy access to all Ballater's amenities. Very quiet at night. Excellent wi-fi and powerful shower with instant hot water. On street parking available immediately outside property or if busy close by. Location provided several walks without having yo use the car.

Very minor points but some crockery could have been better and some internal doors were a little difficult to open once closed.

We had a great visit, enjoying the peace, quiet and snowy views.

The cottage was in a lovely, central, but peaceful location. Rooms good size. When warm this is a lovely comfortable cottage. The HDMI cable for the TV was a great touch.

There was a lack of detailed information about use of kitchen appliances. One of the kitchen hob controls was not working. On arrival the cottage was a bit cold and we had no information about how to use/control the heating. Needed at least one bin in the bathroom, and one in the lounge. No instructions given regarding rubbish and recycling. Would suggest that an instruction document be produced in digital format (.doc/pdf etc) and be sent to clients by e-mail. That way all options can be covered.

Well located to city center that would be more comfortable with bettter lighting and some updating.

Location was good for our visit to Balmoral to attend the Braemar games and to see the Balmoral castle. Beds were comfortable.

The lighting, particularly in the kitchen, was very dim, particularly since this is an older, inside apartment. It was a bit difficult to get the key from the lockbox as the latch inside the box was stuck and challenging to open for access to the apartment keys.

contact with the owner was very abrupt and unaccommodating . old place with lots of things unusable. leak from the only shower which they said they’d fix but didn’t!

We love the flat and Ballater!

The location was great, right be hind the Main Street in Ballater. And very convenient to go hiking and to see Balmoral castle. The flat was bigger than I expected with a kitchen, sitting area, and two good size bedrooms. Plenty of space for a family of four.

We used up the hot water showering and watching clothes and then the tank did not fill again until the next day.

Comfortable stay. Great location. Clean house. Everything that we needed was available.

Location. Quietness. Comfort. Cleanliness. Price for value. Easy check in.

Nothing, really. The house had everything that we needed. The only minor suggestion would be to invest a bit more on warm lights and nicer decoration. Other than that, it was really a wonderful place to be.

Very good

The postcode and location don't match, so written description would help. The water immersion heater didn't work, leaving us without hot water. This, we fixed by resetting the tripped fuse but this took some detective work. There is no guide to the property, which would be useful. Despite these minor points, this is a lovely house in a delightful town and all the above could be fixed quickly. Highly recommended.
