All rooms were clean and there supplies eg tea/coffee and some toiletries to kick start our break.

Quick response of owner to bleeping battery and the boiler having gone off
The house was cold on arrival - the weather had changed from previous days
There was no heating in the lounge other than a log burner. I have never used a log burner before and there were no instructions. There was one gas lighter in the kitchen drawer but no additional matches. There was no obvious local shop to buy matches. We managed to light a fire but sat with blankets during the evening
The following morning we had to clean out the ash, find a shop to buy matches, set and relight the fire which took quite a period of time when we should have been doing other things
There was no dining table so we had to eat on our laps. No additional seating.
There was hair in the shower plughole. A bath mat would have been good
It would have been good for the boiler switch to be clearly identified as DO NOT TURN OFF as it was thought to be the light switch for the cupboard

Beds were comfortable, wardrobe spaces were excellent, comfortable bedrooms, heating facilities, off road parking,
Kitchen utensils. Sheets were clean.
No dining table, no trays to eat with. To make this house truly comfortable we suggest the bedroom downs stairs be converted back into a dining room. Door handles needs to be repaired and securely fitted in the sitting room and bedroom three.
Bathroom could do with a more robust shower, decor needs attention to facilitate a higher standard. window sill needs tilting to allow water from the shower to drain away.
Cleaning was not up to required standard.

Location- the house is on a busy road so you are expected to hear a lot of traffic, however has supermarkets close by and not far from Dudley high street say about 8 minutes. House size was of a good size, wifi was strong and beds were comfortable. The TV had inbuilt netflix and amazon prime which was a plus for anyone with children.
Cleanliness- although house was clean there were areas missed e.g behind the doors between hallway and kitchen. The bathroom needs an update especially the toilet and sink- handles and taps were not great. Front Bedroom door very squeaky and needs wd40, boiler very loud, and double glazed windows need potential replacing as there is a alot draft coming our from the windows where you can hear the traffic a lot more. From previous guest feedback re curtains and paint over filler this has not yet been actioned. Wouldn't put me off staying here again but these little details goes a long way and you would have a perfect home if you fix the small jobs.

Fair sized house , very communication from host seemed a lovely fella , new clean beds ,
Tv ariel didnt work but luckily i could log in via my app accounts on the tv ( host offered to try fix it fair play ) ,
House showing abit of wear and tear and patches of filler on ealls ect , light shades missing , curtain poles with out curtains kind of gives a scruffy vibe , tab ends on floor outside back door

We had a lovely stay at this wonderful home. The house itself is beautifully decorated and all rooms are cosy with a homely feel. The comfortable quality beds are the highlights of this house. A variety of complementary teas are an added bonus.The location is perfect and makes travel around the city easy.
Our hosts had excellent communication throughout our stay and helped us with all our queries.
