Allez y les yeux fermés

Super!!! Le staff est composé d’une équipe de femmes incroyable! Elles répondront à toutes vos demandes avec une gentillesse incroyable, résoudront tout vos petits problèmes et répondront a toutes vos questions, toujours avec un grand sourire. Les chambres sont super, la cuisine et la salle commune aussi. Auberge 5 étoiles.

Uncomfortable sleep, but pleasant staff and atmosphere

It was a cosy small hostel with clean kitchen facilities and easy walking distance from the main centre square. They offered paid laundry service if needed. The staff were very helpful with suggestions.

The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, to the point where we woke up with migraines and had very little sleep. There was a second bed in our private room, however it was not even made up when we got there so we could not use it. It did not seem any better anyhow. There was a single bed top sheet for a double bed mattress, meaning that everytime one of us rolled over, the sheet would just bunch to one side. Neither of us had a decent sleep for the three nights we were there. The water in the boiler for the showers is set to a luke warm 36 - 37 degrees celsius, which is not my definition of a hot shower. There seems to be an inconsistency with the temperature of the water in the private room compared to the communal bathrooms downstairs, which seemed much warmer.

Hostel zum Wohlfühlen

Schönes gemütliches Hostel,habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.Nettes freundliches Personal,total warme duschen und super gelegen abseits des Marktplatzes aber dann doch sehr Zentral.Kleiner Supermarkt direkt nebenan.

Sehr sehr sauber, sehr gute Betten, kleine Küche, alles bestens!! Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich!!

Ist schon an der Straße, also morgens reger Verkehr, keine Kritik, aber ist so!!

Lovely hostel with everything u need

We took the only private room they had. It was a lovely loft with amazing views of The Valley. Staff were very nice and not intrusive at all. They were very accommodating with all our requests. Salento is a nice place and this is the perfect choice for your stay specially if you are planning hikes and stuff like that as they have a small shop downstairs where they rent/ sell all equipment u might need

I think the experience could be even better if they offered breakfast

Hostel for those who want to hike Nevado del Tolima

This hostel is perfect for people who are looking to join a group heading for Nevado del Tolima volcano. During the season (December-March) there are almost daily departures. When you come back there is a possibility to dry your gear or use the laundry service. There is also gear rental and outdoor equipment store on site.

For those people who are working remotely this is not very comfortable place, because sitting area is very limited and there is always some wind in the hall. On the other hand, I stayed in Salento for 2 weeks and didn't find a decent budget-friendly coworking/coliving, so the perfect place is yet to appear.

Superb

It is a small hostel with comfortable rooms, kitchen and bathrooms. It truly felt homey and the kitchen had everything you may need. It feels like cooking and eating at home. The bedroom had a balcony and lockers.

It was certainly not a problem for me and it even made me feel more at home and independent, but there is no 24/7 reception and you get a key to enter the hostel. So perhaps good to know that there is no one there from 20h30 to 8h30.

Pleasant

Basic but nice hostel. Laundry service was excellent. Friendly staff. Good location.

Bathroom was not clean. Was not a good place to easily meet new people.

Superb

One of the best things about this place is Mariana, the girl at reception. Not only she is extremely nice, but also very helpful and efficient. The room we stayed in was really good and clean. This hostel is really great value!

The bed wasn't very comfy. It was fine for a couple of nights though, and can't complain at the price.

Great location, comfortable, welcoming and very friendly

Really really friendly staff who went out of their way to help me organise anything I wanted in Salento. They create a really welcome vibe and the place itself is gorgeous. Highly recommended

Very decent hostel though not social

+ not a party hostel + clean rooms, kitchen and bathrooms + close to the main square + max 4 people per room

- not a social hostel if you’re looking to meet people as a solo traveler (yet there is a big hostel not even 30m away if you wanted to meet people)
