A little gem in rishikesh!

I was lucky to find this little gem in rishikesh! Just away from all the noise but close enough to enjoy all parts of the city. The staff were so kind, the rooms and ambience were lovely, and they even gave me a gift of water from the Ganga river. I will for sure be back!

I enjoyed my stay here.

The staff are warm and welcoming. They also gave good tips on sightseeing. Food is very good with quantity more than we need. It is made fresh. Room is good, bed and pillows comfortable. There is plenty of drinking water and more is brought when needed.

The location is not good as it is inside a residential colony and away from the main road. So we have to book the taxi service through the hotel even for short trips.

We Loved staying here. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this place.

We loved everything about the property. The cottage is so homely. Richa and her team were very welcoming.

Maybe in the bathroom the shower could have a better water temperature system put in.

Overall the stay was good.

All the meals what we had were good. to find the location was bit a task as there was no sign Board. We got the google location from the manager Mr Shah so were able to reach at destination. The staff was very good & took maximum care to make our stay enjoyable.

Should improve on the payment system as none of our credit cards were working on the machine.

Exceptional stay and remarkable level of service

My stay at Lamrin Cottages was nothing short of perfect. The staff, always wearing warm smiles, were incredibly helpful and considerate throughout my visit. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with warmly, meeting me at the car and offering a drink and lovely conversation, ensuring I had everything I needed to begin my exploration of the enchanting Rishikesh. Their thoughtful gestures didn’t stop there. They went above and beyond by arranging an excellent tour for me, enhancing my solo travel experience. As a solo traveler, I felt truly cared for with their kind morning texts, checking in on me during my adventures, ensuring my well-being, and offering any assistance I might require. This personal touch made my two-week stay feel like a genuine home away from home. The accommodations were top-notch. The beds were comfortable, and the view from my patio area was simply lovely. The food served was a delicious and there was a nice variety of local and western foot to match your mood. I encountered only minor power outages, a common occurrence in India. However, the staff’s prompt and efficient response to any issues that arose left me impressed. The farewell was as heartwarming as the welcome. The team walked me to my car, presented me with a thoughtful parting gift, and bid me a heartfelt goodbye. It felt like saying farewell to dear friends and an unexpected comfort at after being so far from home on a long journey. From the moment I made my reservation until my departure, the communication was impeccable. Lamrin Cottages not only provided an exceptional stay but also a remarkable level of service. My time here was filled with warmth, care, and exceptional experiences that I truly appreciate.

Amazing Hospitality 🤩

I Had a very relaxed and comfortable stay in this Cottage. The staff were very helpful right from reservation to check out. Special thanks to Richa and Kuldeep who took care of all our needs and made our stay very comfortable. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rishikesh. Thank you for the amazing Hospitality will surely be back soon.

Best personalized service

We absolutely loved our stay at Lamrin. The rooms were clean and neat. The best part of our stay was the food, honestly the best I’ve had in India so far. The team welcomed us with so much warmth and the warm welcome drink on a cold evening was just the right fit to start our stay here. Extremely cordial staff, always smiling, going above and beyond to serve guests. Food was home style and beyond amazing.The villa was very clean,spacious and well maintained.

Cosy and welcoming!

The service was very helpful and the food served was very tasty, we tried different dishes at each of the breakfasts. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the entire facility is aesthetically arranged. We fondly remember our stay at Lamrin and highly recommend it.

It was great. I was well taken care of.

You go to Lamrin for only one reason and that is Mr Kuldeep Saini. He is the caretaker and looks after you like your own mother. Food is freshly cooked and tastes delicious.

Its pricy considering the off season now. In the same price you can get some of the amazing ones on the Ganga ghat.

In a Spiritual Capital with the touch of modern Era

All the meals that I had were good, Very clean, spacious, personalized services and great staff. Perfect location and quiet in the centre of Rishikesh. Although it was a last minute plan to Rishikesh and I booked it in a hurry but it was worth a penny. It is a very safe and secure place for the person who has come to Rishikesh all alone. It is centrally located and near to all major tourist locations like Ram Jhula and most importantly it is on the bank of river Ganga. Staff were very courteous, with an excellent view of a peaceful cottage.Food was awesome. Mr Sanjay and Mr Kuldeep took good care of us. It was an Exceptional Interior + Holistic design inspired from the holi city & reflecting the modern era with traditional touch / finishing.

Peaceful Stay

Lamrin cottages is a lovely place to stay. Rooms are spacious and clean. Also have a lounge area where you can chill and enjoy their freshly cooked meals. It is a comfortable place to spend your time in peace.

Beautiful property with yummy food

The location is great, just off the main road ( motorable till door ) , on a mountain slope, offering great view of Ganga and surrounding mountains. A short downhill trek ( 400m ) will take you to main road next to ghats, from where you can access the various ghats, Shatrughan ghat is the nearest where you can see the evening Arti and have a bath. Comin to the room , Its decorated in vintage style, quiet a big and airy room, very clean , had enough space to put one extra bed ( chargeable basis ) and still kids were able to play around. The sheets were clean and bed was very comfy, no noise from outside at all , very peaceful sleep. Ours was on ground with access to the beautiful well maintained garden. The shared lounge is a nice area to sit out with kids( sitting on beds can be taxing on the backs) , it feels like you are at home not confined to just one room like in hotels. The terrace area is also nice, and would be an ideal place to have breakfast or hi-tea if the weather is conducive. The food is great, portion sizes are huge, freshly prepared wholesome food. The staff accommodated all requests happily related to the food and other services, also they guide you for any sight seeing assistance required. The property manager was also very amicable in nature. Towels and other toiletries were provided too. The villa is situated in a gated well maintained society so one can also take a stroll nearby and is not only confined to rooms.

Exceptional

Everything was exceptional when I stayed her with my mom! Leaves a very homely feel to the place and the staff were more than accommodating.

The only aspect we didn't quite like was that only one dining table was shared among everybody in the rooms. So if it is occupied by other guests, you must wait before you can be seated. However you can always choose to dine in your room as well or outside in the patio.

We had the best stay in our 4 weeks trip to India here in this hotel. By far the cleanest hotel in Rishikesh (and we have seen 4 different places). Make sure to try the food, the chef Jatin did an amazing job. Best palak paneer in India, everything is made from scratch and very fresh. The staff was amazing too, thank you Sanjay and Kuldeep!

Perfect stay and felt right at home and well cared for.

Loved the location that it was not by the main road and quiet calm neighbourhood. Impeccable staff service from the whole team right down to helping us retrieve our hot flask that was left behind in a shop at Tapovan. Many thanks for the extra mile provided. I especially loved the comfy room and bed, and thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had there, it was superb!

Disappointing

The staff is as courteous and helpful as one can hope for. The room size is very good and the house is fairly close to ram jhula.

This is not an independent cottage but rather a villa which rents rooms. I was not aware of that prior to booking. As a result the place in neither a hotel nor an independent cottage. To me it felt somewhat odd.

Our stay in Lamrin was absolutely great. The rooms are comfortable and super clean - this was something I really appreciated after some bad experiences in other hotels here in India. Sanjay and the team were also super helpful and made our stay very comfortable.

stay at lamrin hotel was great! the staff is excellent! I felt at home! very tasty food. At the same time, they didn’t cook for me according to the menu, but exactly what I wanted and asked for. 3rd floor room is good. and I had a whole roof where I dined in the evening! special thanks to Kuldeep Negi! wonderful and kind person! unforgettable place! definitely recommend to visit!

Loved Lamrin Boutique Cottages... The rooms are so cozy and beautiful... The picturesque setting of the cottages and oh the lovely view from the rooftop with the Ganges flowing peacefully... The staff were also reallyyyy friendly ...It was really a memorable stay at the Cottage! Lamrin Boutique Cottages worth yet another visit by me !

Superb

Great location, close to Shivananda Ashram and short walk to Mother Ganga. From Roof top we could see Ganga.

Overall very good stay. Only two things to improve. AC is very laud and bathroom door did not close. We will come again.

I recommend this place and will come back.

The facility was clean and comfortable. Location was ideal to the banks of river ganga (5 min walk). The staff was very humble and accommodative. Excellent home style cooked meals were served fresh. I highly recommend the place.

There was nothing to not like.
