It was very dirty and very noisy in the night due to construction work near the building.
The amount they took was worthless for the facilities.
It was so different from the pictures depicted on the site

In hindsight, I liked only the fact this this was my last month in Riyadh having lived here for 5 years. I could only get a 3 month extention to my rental and I only wanted 4 weeks. Hence this stay.
I really loved the work keeping me awake until 2am every night
I really loved the smell of thinners from varnish every night creeping into the apartment
I absolutely loved getting bitten most nights by [presumably] bed bugs (see picture)
I loved the staff attitude to smiling and sniggering at every complaint
I loved have no Air Con for most of the time, and really loved the A/C leaving over my bed of and the fantastic solution of just moving the bed accross the room and putting a waste paper bin under the leak (which was perforated)
Loved the intermittent wifi
I really love the fact that I will never have to come back here...
Oh where to start....
1. At no point was I advised of full rennovation of the hotel; hence the subsequent 4 weeks of hell most nights either from the noise of a nuematic device chisselling up the floors or the intense smell of thinners from the spray varnish that crept through every opening around every door and left me feeling sick most nights.
2. The cleanliness of the apartments they moved me too and from... Iy honestly looked like someone had mopped an already filthy floor with dirty water and left it to dry with a dusty film everywhere.
3. The dangerous wiring everywhere. Lack of fused plugs and number of devices with just the live and neutral cables exposed and poked into the wall sockets.
4. Airconditioning spent more time not working than working so my lounge areas was like a sauda most of the time.
5. The air conditioner faulted over my bed and I woke once to a pool of water on the matress (just lucky i was sleeping that time on the otrher side; and the second time i woke up with it dripping on my head. When they moved me to another room that A/C just spat out grey grime all over the bed (luckily that apartment was 2 bed!)
6. First apartment fridge had no door on the freezer, second apartment fridge had no seal on the fridge door. When I tried to raise this as a fault the young indian guy ignored me, turned his back on be and turned on his hoover (for effect I imagine as my apartments were never in a million years hoovered!) I must point out that after [in no uncertain terms] bringing this to the attention of the guy in reception, he personaly came up and rectified the issue:- by ripping the door seal from another fridge and fitting it to mine. It was at this point i noticed that the reason they could not move the fridge was because it would have exposed the dangerous fire hazard of the dodgy wiring (although I already knew this!)
7 every time there was a fault to rectify they maintenance team banged on my door at 11pm to midnight...

Did not try the breakfast at the facility.
Provide an intercom in the rooms for an inquiries. The room was shown on the booking.com was showing studio type but it was a just a single room. It has to differentiate to receptionist to understand between studio type and a single room.
