Good location, near the bus terminal.
They charged me 3.000 chilean pesos saying it was taxes, although there was any information about it in my reservation.

it was in a convenient location, they let me check in early and the younger woman who works here was very nice
where do I start. first of all, I booked a room with a BALCONY. the room I was given didn’t even have a window. then I was immediately told to “only touch ONE of the beds” so they didn’t have to change the second beds’ sheets. ummm that’s against COVID hygiene practices! there was hair and dirt or dust all over the second bed.
when I wanted to leave I waited for 15 minutes before someone answered the desk bell requesting them to unlock the door.
the bathroom was atrocious, as others commented —if you end up with a room near the bathroom it will WREAK OF URINE. also only one bathroom for nearly ten rooms so good luck sneaking in when it’s not in use.
when I went to check out, I asked if I was able to leave my backpack until my flight. the old lady said yes but it’s $3 to leave it, but it wasn’t even in a secure location, just lying out in the open. I agreed, reluctantly. when I returned to get something from my backpack while waiting for my flight (this is where it gets REALLY GOOD)—
I grabbed a quick snack out of my bag. the old woman immediately runs in and tells me “there’s no eating allowed in the hostel, go outside” which I was very confused about since there was a common area with tables for eating.
as I was packing up my things she just stood there arms crossed tapping her foot and staring at me. I tried to tell her I just needed to do a few important things on the WiFi but she LITERALLY COVERED HER EARS at me and told me she didn’t care and that I couldn’t stay here and to GET OUT. she practically pushed me out of the hostel onto the street!! confused and without my backpack I sat outside, shaking, booking my next hostel and wondering if I’d even be let back in to get my backpack with the way she treated me. she should be fired, she was so incredibly rude, I was in shock.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE, read the previous reviews. not only are the facilities disgraceful but the old woman who works here is unbelievably disrespectful to GUESTS.

Was able to check in super early, good price for a private room, good location in city center
bathroom smells a bit, loud street, everything a bit outdated and no kitchen to use
