Très bon séjour!

L'endroit est agréable et la vue sur la mer depuis le balcon est appréciable. Ce n'est pas le grand confort mais la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Roger compensent amplement. Ses conseils sont précieux et il est aux petits soins pour les voyageurs. L'ambiance est familiale et très sympathique.

Le confort de la chambre est assez sommaire. Il manque quelques équipements.

Buena locación pero no me sentí cómoda y no volvería.

La locación es cerca a la zona turística y es súper fácil movilizarse de ahí.

No tiene rótulo, parece casa personal entonces lavan la ropa y la cuelgan desde el balcón y Dios libre si te vas a sentar cerca de ellos. También, el primer día que llegamos, no vimos ningún rótulo o listas de reglas en cuarto a la habitación, se supone que uno paga por noche y ese es tu espacio durante el tiempo que pagas. Pero, salimos por 40 minutos a buscar un refresco y algo de comer, hacía mucho calor y queríamos descansar en un cuarto fresco, dejamos el AC prendido y cuando volvimos, aún hacía calor y nos fijamos que estaba apagado y es que son ponernos un mensaje o llamada, entraron a la habitación a apagarlo. Me pareció una invasión y atrevimiento. Educadamente llame al dueño y no respondió así que procedía dejar un audio sin ofender. Pero la esposa del señor se ofendió y lo tomo tan personal que hasta mala cara nos hacía. Nos queríamos ir ese mismo día. Luego por la noche intento prender el AC y no se que pasó pero ya no helaba y llame por ayuda y el dueño me dijo que me esperara 'porque ese cuarto no era congelador" lo dijo 3 veces y la señora con una actitud bien pedante. El señor en si es muy amigable y acogedor pero la actitud que tomaron después del reclamo es inmaduro y poco profesional. No volvería a quedarme aquí solo por eso.

Chambre en bois sur le récif

L'ambiance genre cabane de pêcheurs rafistolée Roger, le proprio est super sympa, on a discuté ensemble un moment La famille sympa présente dans les murs (fils souriant et sympa) L'espace détente (banquettes, fauteuils, hamacs etc) très roots et très bricolé, un peu bordélique aussi mais qui a son charme, et même on ponton privé au bord de la mer côté récif pour chiller en paix. La petite cuisine au RDC (mériterait davantage de propreté et de rangement) Micro ondes, bouilloire, eau, café, frigo tout le nécessaire est là. Les bus s'arretent juste devant, west end (magnifique) a 10 mn.

LE PRIX ! beaucoup,beaucoup trop cher pour le confort (+ de 35$) je sais bien que l'île est chère, mais la minuscule chambre très mal isolée ne vaudrait pas plus de 10 ou 15$ max! Il fait très chaud dans la chambre et le ventilateur oscillant n'est pas supportable la nuit. Chambre toute en bois très sonore +voisinage, chiens, voitures sur la rue etc) boules quies indispensables. Dommage car Roger est vraiment sympa !

Relajante.

Creo que lo fundamental de este hospedaje es su dueño, Roger. Que finalmente es quién genera que uno logre conocer Roatán. Da excelentes tips, brinda información, colabora, es claro con las indicaciones y responde siempre muy a tiempo. Es un hospedaje sencillo pero que se asegura de que uno se sienta cómodo y se sienta libre de hacer consultas. Al llegar se nos dijo, que se esperaba que quisiéramos volver y se logró. Esperamos volver algún día.

Creo que se podría incorporar con el tiempo, algún espacio para dejar la ropa (pero nosotros cancelamos la habitación simple, así que desconozco si otras habitaciones lo tienen)

close to ferry,airport, one night is more than enough, not a good area. no food or anything around

host was friendly. saw mockingbirds, I guess the owners trying to make it nicer but it was a building site when we were there.

it's in the ugly part of the island, only good if you need to stay close to the ferry/airport for super quick night, there is nowhere to eat, we eat at petrol station. Expensive taxi service. The rooms are very basic. Bathroom is something I have never seen probably and we did travel through CA for a month - we didnt even use the shower. It needs so much more work. If it wasnt in Roatan, you would be paying 10 bucks max. sorry but it made me ick.

L’amabilité de Roger qui m’a conduite à l’aéroport et à la plage de west bay et west end (moyennant des frais supplémentaires) et donné de bons conseils.

J’ai choisi cette maison d’hôtes pour pouvoir faire du snorkeling facilement. Or ce n’est pas du tout évident de se rendre aux coraux: le fond est vaseux et il faut marcher sur des coraux cachés par des algues pour rejoindre une profondeur suffisante pour pouvoir nager… vraiment pas facile et même stressant. La chambre est très basique et rustique, confort minimal… La maison est située sur une route passante: entre le bruit des voitures et celui des hôtes de 6h30 à 23h00, ça ne laisse pas beaucoup de temps pour se reposer au calme. Tout cela fut très décevant au vu des commentaires précédents qui m’ont largement incitée à choisir cette maison d’hôtes. Si j’avais su, j’aurai choisi un autre établissement.

The owner was the sweetest person I met along my whole trip! He was making sure I am having a great time even tho I only stayed for one night! Also picked me up by the ferry and brought me back in

Superb

Very friendly owners. Great location right on the water with a reef right in front of the property. Owner was very helpful with giving me a lift to the airport in the morning and had great conversation. Will definitely come back

It was a nice place and the owners were helpful.

I liked being right on the water and I liked the outdoor areas.

I thought it was on the beach, but it was quite a ways away. I would have liked another plug and another table or chair near the head of the bed. I also would have liked a door to the bathroom.

At Victoria's beach house you feel like home .

Everything was perfect, the bed was comfy with a powerfull fan, the house has a cute deck with a marvelous view of the ocean. In this house you will be able to rest, swim and snorkling without to go anywhere else. Besides the place, the magic about this beach house are their owners. Roger and his family will go up and beyond to help you, and make you feel at home. I will be back!

lovely peaceful stay right on the water

loved our stay here! - rustic waterfront accommodation - amazing and helpful owner Roger (who goes above and beyond to help) - quiet location near food options but away from big resort - great and peaceful relaxing area with private jetty and amazing snorkeling

it didn’t bother us but the rooms are more rustic but so worth it for the price! Still super clean and comfortable with private bathroom. Minimal kitchen facilities would recommend adding these e.g cooker or bbq

An incredible night in roatan

The home was handmade by the owner and is absolutely stunning.perfect location with incredible swim through coral reefs just in the back. Also the staff made it extremely important I stayed fed.

Our stay was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. They welcomed us like family. Roger went out of his way to help me find something I needed in town, I appreciated this so much. He dropped us off at the ferry, I realized I left something back in their refrigerator, he went back for it. This family was so lovely, they truly do everything possible to make your stay special. The breakfast was delicious, especially sitting on the porch over the water. Their son was visiting, he drove us to dinner. Their little girl, Victoria is so sweet, she was happy to show us her new puppy and beautiful rabbit. I can’t say enough about this lovely family and their special place on the water!!!

There was nothing we didn’t like, we enjoyed our stay.

Very good

The owner is very friendly and helpful. This is a Rustic type of accommodation. It's not a fancy hotel with A/C. Suitable for back packers. Great value for money. Get one the upstairs rooms if you can, so you can get a bit of the sea breeze. Nice local style breakfast.

For the money, l can't complain.

Short stay after a long flight from Canada. Good value.

The sound of the ocean from my room was lovely. Roger the owner was very helpful with transport and local knowledge.

Some traffic noise. No outlet to charge my phone.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT !! It was like staying with Family. They are always asking if you need anything. We got Coffee in the Afternoon [both days] - No Problem ! We needed some Hydrocortisone cream, and the owner went and got us some - No Problem ! Very Generous & Kind !
