Location and as it’s the end of terrace, it has a lovely, private garden area with comfortable sofas.
Sympathetically restored character property.
No parking, but there is a free public car park very close by.
Steep stairs and only one small wardrobe between the three bedrooms, as there isn’t enough space for any more.

Delightful cottage with a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Great outdoor space too.
The real bonus was the private path to the beach.
Nothing, it was all good.

Very comfortable cottage with everything you need. Beds and bedding very comfy too. Lovely short walk to the beach and a great coffee shop and place for breakfast right on the beach.

Beautiful house, pristinely clean but cosy at the same time. Very friendly and helpful communication from the host. Couldn't have asked for more. We also loved the fact that we could walk down the little footpath and come out right by the sea. The Lobster Pot cafe is a bonus, we had a gorgeous breakfast and dinner there looking out to sea.

This property is in an amazing location and really benefits from the garden which a lot of other properties in the area didn’t have. Just a short walk and you are on the beach which is perfect when you have small children. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need which was a great help. The beds were super comfy and everything was spotlessly clean.
The host was so accommodating supplying us with a travel cot, high chair and even put stair gates up for us. I really couldn’t fault our stay there and will definitely be back 😊

The cottage is in a quiet location near to the seaside. There is a nice walled garden to sit out in with solar lights for the evening. The living room is cosy with a log fire and the kitchen is well equipped. It is nicely decorated and very clean.

The Coastguard cottage was lovely, with a really charming outside area. It's in a beautiful location and exactly suited our purposes for the weekend. Our host was extremely helpful. We were only a a few minute's stroll to the beach and a wonderful cafe. We would love to return!

We loved the private, peaceful location - so quiet waking up on Sunday morning!
Loved being close to the beach and cottage was very clean, warm and comfortable.
Appreciated comfortable mattresses and pillows - I usually have to use my own but not this time!
I would have expected towels to be provided which would be usual for cottage lets in recent years - luckily we had a reminder to take our own so we did have them with us but it meant taking wet towels home.
It wasn't ideal to have to leave the car up the road as carrying luggage along and through three gates made things a bit difficult to start with...however, once we'd arrived and got things in this wasn't an issue and of course it's the nature of a property like this!

The cottage is situated very close to our favourite beach side cafe which never fails to impress. The cottage comfortably slept five adults. All were guests at my son's wedding. All loved the cottage and connected with its age, charm and beautiful renovation.
Very little, maybe a mirror in one of the bedrooms.

The location of the cottage is just wonderful. Very close to the beach and nice coffee places and restaurants at walking distance. The garden was beautiful as well as the garden set. Lucky for us we had great weather. The cottage itself was spotless and has a very nice kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom.
The toilet of the cottage was situated in the bathroom which sometimes wasn't so handy with 5 people. We missed closetspace in the bedrooms and the owner told us this was something she was thinking about changing. The dishwasher didn't seem up to it's task.

Communication was very good from the start. Good instructions on how to get to and find the property as well as places to eat around the cottage.
Cottage was clean and light nice outdoor space to eat and relax. Kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. Lounge was a good size and comfortable. The 2 double bedrooms and single were a good size. Unfortunately the single room didn't work for us as my boys are over 6ft so didn't fit the bed frame and slept on sofa.. but was comfortable.
Location was great for Goodwood and Butlins.. short walk to seafront and Lobster Pot Cafe. There were Pizza, Indian, Chinese restaurants within a stones throw of the property and a lovely cafe for breakfast called Caffe Grey.
Overall Coastguards Cottage was just what we needed for our stay and would recommend it.
Very little and the suggestions below are small really.
hand towel in bathroom
toilet paper for 4 adults. (We only found 1 roll)
Maybe have a 1 room with twin beds or a pullout sofa.
Maybe more shelving in main room and bathroom to put things on.. jewellery, cosmetics, bathroom stuff.
Honestly these are very small and didnt spoil our time there at all.

The hosts are very easy to contact and the keys are easy to find and use. The cottage is really sweet and in a secluded location, really quiet. We slept so well in the beds they were really comfortable, and the house was lovely and clean.
The house is well stocked with a good size tv and nice sofas, the garden is a real sun spot and there are nice chairs to sit out in. The beach is an easy walk and there are several lovely cafes and a great tapas restaurant at the end of the road. We did lots of different activities from here - sea swimming, kayaking, cinema, fun fair - and there was lots more to do. Would highly recommend staying here, there were two adults and two children and it was perfect for us.
