Very clean and nicely appointed.
A TV and perhaps a microwave would have been nice.

Super clean and comfortable

The room was clean and comfortable, filled with so many thoughtful touches: oatmeal, coffee, and tea, and hot chocolate; books to read, extra bedding, guide books for the area. The location is very good, right near the marina on Indian Lake.

Oatmeal, tea & coffee were a nice treat.
Everything was fine

Nice motel close in the heart of nature. Very tidy, stylish and comfortable. Way better than what you would expect from a motel. Excellent stay
Nothing really. Maybe noisy if neighbors are loud

Clean , refrig, good pressure in shower, comfortable bed.
Room too small for 2 queens, Bed tight- had to climb over each other when peeing at night, no shelves or drawers for clothes, nobody on site so had to communicate by text or email.

I liked everything about this little motel. It was a small room with homemade furniture, completely renovated. the fridge was small but met the need. The bed and down/feather comforter were exceptionally comfortable. Quality towels and real dishes were a nice touch as well.

It’s location .Decor.
Room was extremely hot. Cleaning lady extremely rude.

Great location and vibe
room was stifling

The quiet location convenient to Indian Lake restaurant which was very good. Reasonable distance from the Wild Center, Adirondack Experience and the North Country National Scenic Trail trailhead in Speculator.
The room was uncomfortably warm even with the fan. We were unable to open the window near the bed (unit 2).
Shower bars need to be sturdier for safety.

It was clean and pretty quiet. Good location for us to explore the area and visit with family who were camping nearby.
Only one choice of bed size (double). No TV and no AC.

It was very quiet.
No TV, room very small.

We loved how homey it felt.
there was nothing to not like. loved it

Perfect for a quiet getaway to the Adirondacks. Really enjoyed the fire pits that were available to use.

It was Rustic in a fun hipster kind of way. No staff on premisses everything is done via email and a lockbox for the key. Room was very clean, very warm in midwinter and thoughtfully laid out considering the space limitations.
Bathroom window didn't open and there was no ceiling fan so the shower steamed things up a bit.

Nice snacks in the room. Heat was on and sufficient.
Place was quiet and clean.
I will be back!

Location to lake.
Being woke up at 11:30 by frat boys giggling when we were getting up early to fish. No TV. Maybe no reception up there but with wifi we could sign into Netflix or Amazon and drowned the noise out

The rooms are meticulously maintained, and lovingly decorated in a Scandinavian-style pinewood design. I was there in the winters so there was nobody else around, and the pool was closed, but the accommodation was cozy and comfortable. It is close to the road and easily accessible.
Guests should be aware that there is a cleaning fee of $15 on top of the regular price.

Cozy & quaint. Perfect for a weekend getaway. The water pressure was great.
Could have used extra pillows and an extra bathroom towel. Shower is small but that’s the motel style.

great spot fir the price
uncomfortable bed, coffee machine hard to operate, nearly useless. Otherwise room was adequate.

The design, small thoughtful touches, outdoor area is really nice
The shower is one of the grimmest showers I’ve seen. It’s a camp shower, I felt like I was taking a shower in a piece of Tupperware. There were dark green towels instead of white and a dirty floor towel. Only 2 pillows and they were flat and cheap. Very thin walls and dim lighting. Curtain rods that come off the hook because they are not secured at all.

location was great
thin walls. have to wear ear plugs

Location was good, and quiet. The room that i was supposed to be in wasnt cleaned from the previous person. So I had to drive down the road to get reception and call The manager to get another Room. It was much better when the previous owners had it.

modern ikea furnished minimalistic modern room, lots of supplies: food, snacks, full size toiletries, the white noise device, dishes, extra coffee, soft sheets, clean

renovation was nice, mattress/bedding was good, outside chairs were nice, faux oil lamp nice touch. I’ve stayed there before and it needed renovations.
bathroom window stuck open, no dresser or place to put clothes except to hang, coffee maker not working, room/floor was dirty and both beds against wall so 1 person needed to climb over other to get in or out of bed, no fresh linens for 5 days and hot water was intermittent.
4.0
Good location. Rustic accommodations. Good value.
Cleanliness wasn’t great. Lots of dog hair on the rugs. Sheets weren’t clean on one of the beds, but there were extras.
Please include signage at the old office door that the main house is booked room and no staff are present on site. We had multiple other guests knock at our door with questions.
Include more lighting in bathroom and common spaces.
It smelled like there was a dead animal somewhere near the door/fire pit outside the house, but we couldn’t locate anything.
