This guest house is an absolute gem.The rooms are spotless and very well decorated.The breakfasts are freshly cookked to order with ample choice for every taste.All the staff are really lovely and friendly and nothing is too miuch trouble.We had a beautiful sea view room .
Nothng.Everything was perfect.It would have been nice to be able to get hot drinks and food later in the day but the owners have already got things in place for this to happen.

Lovely accommodation, fantastic sea view room, comfy bed, very clean, great to have a fridge with water and proper milk. The breakfast was wonderful and Allison and the rest of the staff were great. They’ve thought of the little things like beach chairs to borrow! Really accommodating when I added an extra night. Location fabulous.
Being really picky could do with a wall mounted secure fixing for the shower gel/ shampoo bottles - one room had nothing - bottles on the shower floor, the other room had a hanging caddy which just swung around.

Wir sind von der Gastgeberin sehr freundlich empfangen worden.
Das Zimmer und das ganze Haus waren sehr sauber.
Das Bett war sehr durchgelegen und für unsern Geschmack viel zu weich.
Auch die Einrichtung hat unseren Geschmack nicht getroffen.
Die Toilette war von Anfang an verstopft und der Handtuchwärmer schien nicht zu funktionieren.
Wir hatten das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss direkt neben dem Haupteingang des Hauses. Wenn jemand zur Türe reingekommen ist oder am Morgen die Gäste zum frühstücken kamen, konnten wir nicht mehr schlafen, da alles so hellhörig war.
Im Zimmer gibt es einen kleinen Kühlschrank der allerdings so laut brummt, dass man ihn ausstecken muss um in ruhe schlafen zu können.
Der Preis, für diese Unterkunft, ist nicht gerechtfertigt!

Gorgeous sea front position. The seaview from our bedroom was amazing.Alison was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. All in all, it was a brilliant place to stay.
It was out of town so we were worried about dinner. But having said that we took the bus into Berwick, had a great Italian meal and got the bus back. ( We had no car as we were on a cycling holiday).

We were well considered during our stay, we had travelled far and where tired upon arrival, no fuss, just ensuring we found our room. Breakfast was perfect, set us up for our day of walking. 👍

The accomodation was very clean and modern . The beds were very comfortable but the best thing about this place is the owners Allison and he husband. They were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return there soon!

Beautiful large room with a sea view! Two comfy chairs looking out across the road to the beach. A lovely touch of a stick of rock on the tea tray.
A very clean and comfortable room and Netflix too!
Breakfast was lovely, set us up for the day of exploring Lindisfarne and Banburgh castle.
Lots of parking space too. Lovely staff. Just a lovely little B&B.

Booked tickets for my husband to watch rugby at Murrayfield and found it was so expensive to stay in Edinburgh...
Glad I looked further afield and found this lovely place that was only around 1 hr 15 min drive to Murrayfield.
Warm welcome on arrival, lovely, big, clean room and en suite. Very friendly owner, gave recommendations of where to eat etc.
Ample and free parking.
Small fridge which had proper milk for tea/coffee rather than those horrid little cartons! Also had a bottle of cold filtered water in it.
Some other lovely touches such as a stick of rock, postcard and biscuits in the room.
I generally struggle to sleep when I'm away but had the best sleep I have had in a long time away from home both nights! Very comfy bed.
Breakfast made to order and very accommodating to dietary needs (I am veggie).
So close to the sea front, very peaceful area and a nice 20 min walk to town which had some lovely restaurants etc.
Nothing that we did not like really.
Would have been nice to have a room with a sea view but didn't request this tbf and we were more than happy with the room we had.

The rooms were very comfortable and warm and had been well thought out. You could see they had just been refurbished with a lot of detail included.
Whilst we commend using tea/coffee etc without packaging to cut down on waste, it didn't feel or look very hygienic. The biscuit jar for example didn't look like it had been washed before being refilled as there were old crumbs in the bottom of it. The same for the jam jars at breakfast. Whilst it didn't detract from our stay, I feel the plan to use less packaging could do with more thought.
