It was a lovely place overall, especially with the proximity to the beach.

Very close to the serene Candolim beach, as opposed to the loud & dirty Baga-Calangute areas

The approach road is an extremely narrow lane & was intentionally not mentioned in listing because that is a hard to reach place. Also, room/bathroom could be a bit cleaner.

Highly recommended

All exceptional and set at the right price. The beach has a path directly from the Inn. Lush green vegetation is well maintained. Rooms are clean, towels provided. Hot water. Shower. Soap. Quiet, yet a small walk to the main high street.

Exceptional place at the right price.

What a gem of a place. It's beautiful, well maintained and very close to Candolim beach, with an access path directly behind the property. It's quiet, the beds are comfortable, hot water, fresh towels. Almost everything is perfect. Thank you. It was so good I extended for another night.

Minor points, on the first night the sheet felt like it was sandpaper, it was late and hot, so i slept on covers. But as soon as i let them know, they changed it. Like I said exceptional. Only a personal warning, avoid using the company they use for scooter rental. They're shysters., but all of the rental places are. Oh, and the cupboard could be better. It looks out of sync with the rest of the room.

Excellent place to stay near candolim Beach.

Very beautiful guest house. Nice rooms. Great location in terms of proximity from the beach. Very pretty garden with lots of flowers and plants. Host is very well behaved. Staff behavior is also fine.

Liked everything. Just one suggestion, a water filling option would be convenient for travelers as well as environment friendly. Purchasing a plastic bottle of mineral water each time is not very good for the environment and the wallet. Also the beds are very spongy. Some people may like it but I think it's not very good and comfortable for the back. Medium firmness would be a better choice.

Shaun’s is an oasis next to the sea. Would definitely stay again next time in Candolim.

Lovely big, quiet room in a typical Goan Portuguese house surrounded by a gorgeous garden. Unobtrusive but instant service when needed. A couple of minutes stroll to the beach and a great beach snack whilst, in the other direction it’s a 5 minute walk to the Main Street and all the amenities on offer there. Great place AND convenient.

Would have liked shower gel but it’s a minor thing.

Dreckiges kleines Zimmer

Der Vermieter war freundlich.

Zimmergröße, Sauberkeit, Möbel, Bad... Es war einfach nur schlimm. Für fast 100€ die Nacht. Steht in keinem Verhältnis.

Nice place

I received a warm welcome from Louis and Michelle . The room was very spacious and comfortable ( I loved the old-fashioned metal wardrobe, which you could lock your valuables in ). I also liked that they supplied a sqeegee for the bathroom so you could dry the floor after showers . It has a nice terrace outside the room with well maintained gardens and good rear access to the beach. I was only able to stay for 1 night but have already booked to return for another 4 days. Great place to stay and good value for money .

Good value for money, the room was comfortable and clean, the staff were very nice and acommodating, direct access to beach, overall a very good option.

Lovely hosts with well maintained place

The host is helpful and warm. They prepared a ground floor room at short notice for my friend who has difficulties with stairs. The place is clean and well maintained, with hot water available all the time for showers. It is a short walk to the main street where the shops and restaurants are.

There isn't a comfortable path to the actual beach, so we couldn't just go to the beach. This was disappointing as we had hoped as a seaside place we could. The room we were given while good, wasn't beach facing. Perhaps this has to do with the season, as I noticed most places had plastic covers, and the host gave us the better room. Some information on seasons and limitations on booking site may be more useful.

Perfect stay very close to candolim beach

I went in the rainy season and the road leading up to the property gets flooded and very difficult to navigate.

Overall a brilliant stay and good value for money

It was a super calm place, even though it’s situated close to Candolim market. Beach is accessible by walk, just 5 mins. The host were very friendly and not one bit intrusive. The rooms were nice and simple but weren’t lacking in anything.

There was nothing to dislike as such, but for the sake of a review, if you are coming by car.. the approach road to the property could get a little tricky.

Reserved based on positive reviews but to be honest it was a disappointing experience to stay with family

The internet was stable and good. that’s the only thing best about this property

Very remote location. You have to walk at least a minimum of 10 minutes to get to the main access road. Shower was broken. Its basically just a house where the owners live in the front and they have rooms backside which they are renting out. Its not a hotel. The bathroom closet wasn’t stable and was dragging out. Overall it was a disappointing stay. Still had to stay because of the payment done before arrival.

The guest house was situated in quiet location set within very nice mature gardens

Great location, very close to the beach, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Room service excellent. Good size room with a very large comfortable bed. Room very cool, even in the middle of the day.

Very close to the beach and a great beach shack. (Pete's.) Also, a short walk to the main strip. Lovely building with well-kept gardens feels very welcoming. Staff all very smiley and friendly even with a strong language barrier. Room was clean and shower hot.

All in all can't complain, it was a lovely place. One small suggestion however - the room felt spartan and cold in contrast to the wonderful ambience of the grounds. A splash of paint, fixing the tired furniture, and removal of loose wiring hanging out of the walls would make this guesthouse a real gem!
