Excellent location, very helpful hotel staff and the food is very tasty.
The maintenance of the rooms requires a significant improvement, especially the cleaning of the rooms.

This is my new favorite place in Israel. Pool is amazing, very clean and big. Private beach. But my highlight is how wonderful the staff is. Everywhere I’ve asked for help I was met with lovely helpful people. Special shoutout to Stephanie from the front desk who comforted me when I ran away from an awful air b and b and upgraded us to a wonderful suite overlooking the beach. Highly recommended!

The view of the water is spectacular. The rooms are spacious and clean. Nice to have a table and couch in the room too (not a particularly comfortable couch, but it was still nice to have). The pictures accurately portray the rooms.
I had a very negative experience with the front desk. After paying in full for the room via booking.com, they told me when I arrived that I still need to pay 17% VAT (since I am an Israeli citizen). When I showed them that my payment confirmation from booking.com explicitly stated that my payment includes 17% VAT, they said that was a mistake from booking.com and that I still needed to pay over 160 NIS more in VAT (allegedly, they said this is now fixed at booking.com and it does now include VAT, but when I booked, 1 week prior, it was a mistake that booking.com said it includes VAT). This is called poor customer service...
We then had an issue with the air conditioner in the room not cooling down the room. Long story short, the AC was working but any time you left the room, it would turn off automatically. This includes if you even just go onto your porch for 3 minutes. What that means is that even just going onto the porch for 3 minutes, you come back in to a hot and stuffy room (at least in the Summer). If you go out for a little bit in the hot summer months, you come back to a hot and stuffy room which takes a long time to cool down. They offered to put the AC on Shabbat mode so that it doesn't turn off like that. But after 3 times of me checking in with them as to when they would do this, they then called my room at 10:30pm to say that there is something wrong with my room and they can't put it to Shabbat mode - but if I want, I could switch rooms...
Finally, be careful to note what type of beds you get in the room. If you get a room with a "Deluxe double or twin room" listed with 1 double bed, what this means is 2 separate single beds next to each other, which do not attach and move apart from each other. The blankets are small too.
Also, for those that are interested in minyanim, they told me at the desk that they almost never have minyan during the week.

Quiet location on the beach. Well appointed, clean rooms (we booked three rooms and all were good, but one of them was an upgrade and was fabulous). There is a large dining room with a great range of high quality food, with plenty of choice for all diets. We needed a little help from the hotel staff with a couple of things and they were exceptional in terms of their attitude and their willingness to help us out.
Nothing! We were very happy there. The location is in a quiet residential area (with lots of new high-end apartments) and does not yet have the restaurants and other facilities within walking distance that you would get in say Netanya or Herzliya, but we were aware of that and liked it. We stayed in mid May when the weather was already lovely and warm, but it was a couple of weeks before the beautiful pool and gardens opened. We were aware of that from the details on the website when we booked, but if that’s important you should check carefully to make sure they will be open when you are there.

The view from the balcony is fabulous and very beautiful. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. There are two swimming pools, an indoor pool and the other an outdoor pool which is suitable for children. The beach is right at the hotel.
We enjoyed our time in jacob Hotel.
The outdoor pool closes at six in the evening. We wish it had stayed open longer

Superb breakfast, superb view, lady on front desk approved late check out at 12.00
Dirtiness in front of rooms, outdoor pool open only from 10 till 6.pm. stuff in restoran in sneakers, gym shoes, jeans, sweat pants.. no wifi on balcony of rooms. the whole impression is like there is no house owner or GM, nobody is taking care. House painting in the room is lowly, homely, bad, very dirty gangways. Hotel like this should have their own parking.

The view of the Mediteranean and the lagoon below are incredible. (We stayed on a high floor.) The breakfast was delicious and kosher. The mashhgiach was helpful.
There is a shul in the building with daily minyanim.
It was very easy to acces the beach and there was a second beach a close walk away. The pools were clean. The room was very spacious. Overall it was a great choice to stay here and we would stay here again. Very reasonable price.
One of the receptionists was not so friendly, but the rest of the staff were fine. The design and furniture in the rooms can use some improvemnet. But these things felt insignificant in comparison to everything else.

The price does not match the level of the hotel, the price is expensive, very expensive, not justified, the cleanliness, the noise, the storage of the belongings, the attitude of the staff (I asked for water in the room, I was told to go downstairs and take it from the cooler) insolence,

Breakfast was amazing, typical Israeli hotel breakfast. The staff was helpful, friendly and went beyond. When we told them it was our anniversary, they upgraded our room, let us arrive early and depart late. A beautiful view from our balcony topped it off. We definitely will return.
Location was a little isolated.

Although hotel was busy the pool was not open, very poor for a resort hotel.

The location and the room
The cleaning service for rooms was erratic, the outside pool wasn’t open, no outside area to sit. No food or drinks available to order from early afternoon on Friday until Sunday morning.

Beautiful view, good fish restaurant on the beach. Very nice and helpful reception staff, kitchen personell is very good and professional. Big rooms, good beds. Guest are many families with children or groups, but all have some opportunity to find own space, not annoying, still enjoying.
Cleaning of rooms not daily, 1x per 2 days, may be bcz of holidays at that time. If windy whether outside, so high noise in the room and it disturbs after a while. But may be just we got such a room with not tight balcon doors.

Everything. We came for one night after my daughter wedding and they upgraded us to a suite and have us a voucher for lunch.
Very friendly stuff, good food, nice views and great facilities
The suite had separate beds and the pillows were not comftable, but it's not a deal breaker
