Great apartment fully recommended

Excellent design, great comfort, good location.

Unfortunately for the 25th and 26th, almost all restaurants are closed or fully booked. Even grocery stores are closed. No food available. It would be a good idea to inform tourists that Norvegians close everything during Christmas time.

Perfekte Unterkunft!

Es war rundum eine perfekte Unterkunft. Die Ausstattung war super, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Küche mit Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Thermoskannen, Ofen usw. Zwei gemütliche Schlafzimmer mit Stauraum für dicke Wintersachen. Bad mit Dusche, alles sehr schön und gepflegt. Alles sehr sauber. Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Ausblick auf die gegenüberliegende Seite Tromsøs sehr schön. Supermarkt, Post und Bushaltestelle sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Sehr nette zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Es war super!

Cosy and comfortable apartment. You got what has been stated in the booking.com and perhaps more .. good and responsive host.. A good choice for our stay in Tromso for 4 nights !

Outstanding views and comfort for a stay in Tromsø

Everything about it was excellent. Perfect location with stunning views of Tromsø island across the fjord. Very well equipped and comfortable apartment with it's own terrace. The owners live above the apartment and were very friendly and helpful.

We only stayed for 2 nights!

Alles. Aussicht, Ausstattung, komplette Küche, Waschmaschine, Klimaanlage, .... alles top. Kurzer Weg zum öffentlichen Bus, schnell in der Stadt. Preis Leistung perfekt. Gratis Parkplatz.

Great place to stay

The location is ideally placed with great view of the Tromso region. The area has free parking is right in the city. The checkin is seamless and the host has setup the place with beautiful decoration. The bathroom and kitchen are perfect in size with practicle setup. Highly recommended.

Amazing apartment

Everything as promised and even more! The free parking, the clean amazing house, nice decorations. Even though we arrived late, there was no problem checking into the apartment.

Highly deceptive, and unethical. Injury risk due to slippery floors, No Views. Not Recommended,

Can't think of anything to like about the place. I would have liked not to have booked the place or spent wasted time heading over. It's totally horrible!

Book & stay at own risk! Danger Alert! Upon arrival, the entrance and parking area was buried in ankle deep snow, covered with ice and flooded with water. Upon alighting the car, slipped and almost fell. No effort to maintain or shovel the snow or clear the ice for guests. Accommodation and parking space is on different levels, separated by three narrow and steep flights of stairs, about 2 floors to walk down. Owner is staying on level 2 of the house and is a shared accommodation with not much private space. Stairs are wet, filled with ice and snow buildup for ages without much clearance or space for walking, terribly dangerous walking down even without luggage. Area is dark and badly lighted. It's almost impossible to bring your luggage down as you have to carry it in a dimly lit and narrow space down two floors of narrow and slippery stairs if you have many pieces or big suitcases bigger then cabin size. It's a miracle if you do not slip and fall while carrying the luggage as even without, we almost slipped thrice but managed to barely balance ourselves. High danger alert, highly not advisable for children, elderly, pregnant, or movement impaired guests. Even able-bodied adults would have to proceed with utmost care and caution so as not to leave with an injury. Only one level without balcony and no view to speak of. View is 80% blocked by houses in front, only partial view of city and water and the night sky. Surroundings is highly dense as it is a residential neighborhood instead of dedicated villa area. View is below average, and advertisement is highly misrepresented and ambiguous. There is free parking but, you would have to park along the street parellel to their garage which is slightly away from the narrow entrance of the house. Highly disappointing and a waste of $300+ a night, which would get you a beautiful and comfortable apartment in the city with views of the harbour and mountain and northern lights. Very bad experience.

I'll book this place every time it is available

The hosts were fantastic. The accommodation was fantastic. Stunning interior design. I want to buy their house if I could afford it. Every night I saw the Northern lights from the front door overlooking the sea.

The location was a distance walk from the main town but there was a very good bus service (number 20) into town. Couldn't find it to get the bus back from town though.

Superb apartment

We had a lower floor apartment which had everything needed. It was a true home from home. It was super clean, with comfortable beds, a large lounge / kitchen area with TV and a dining table. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures. Parking was provided on the premises. It was close to the city centre, easily reached by bus, only a few minutes walk from the apartment to the bus stop. Martha was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Thank you!

GREAT apartment in Tromso that is clean, well stocked, has comfortable beds and a wonderful hostess!

Our family had plenty of space to stretch out, cook and enjoy the beautiful view from the living room. Our host answered the phone or texted me back right away to answer any questions I had. The parking was right in front of the apartment, which was helpful. Our apartment was very clean, well stocked with shampoo/soap/dishwashing/flatware/sheets/towels, etc. We will definitely return to Tromso and stay in this apartment! Plus, there was a very sweet dog who lives upstairs!

Communication with Martha and her Daughter was very pleasant, quick and easy, we loved the place and enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is very spacious and cosy at the same time. It’s beautifully decorated and equipped in everything we needed and more. We were charmed by all the mugs, cups and plates! Bed clothes and towels well very fresh and comfortable. We slept very well. The view was great too. We wished we could’ve stayed there for longer!

The place is cozy and welcoming, and Martha the owner is great. The apartment itself has everything you need.

It's not the closest place to the city center, so you'll have to take a bus.

A perfect opportunity to experience life in Tromso!

The apartment was very cosy, warm and everything was catered for, the hosts had thought of everything we may have needed and made sure it was available before we arrived. Everything was super clean and fresh. It was a really peaceful place to stay and excellent location. The view was also spectacular.

Fantastic & Beautiful stay

The apartment was amazing, from the facilities down to the host - absolutely amazing stay. We couldn't be happier. There are great bus links to the city centre (10mins) and it's not too far to walk either. There are shops around too.

Fabulous view, spacious and comfortable apartment, friendly and very helpful host family!

We loved staying at Marthas Apartments. The view was amazing! We even saw the Northern Lights from our living room window on the last night of our stay! The rooms were spacious and the furnishings, including the bed, were very comfortable! Best of all was the host family. Daughter Christine gave us a fine introduction to the area, with day trip suggestions. Host Are was especially helpful in getting us to our Northern Lights adventure on the night of a huge concert in Tromso! Martha provided a spacious living space! Fabulous.

Everything was great. We had a rental car and it was very helpful as the property is away from city center (which we liked).

Excellent location for a stay at Tromsø

A fully equipped apartment in great location with easy access to public transport system and superb view over the skyline of Tromsø. The hosts are very helpful in all respect.

It was a little bit tricky to manage the free WIFI access. However, we found out how to fix it and now it should not pose a problem any longer for other guests at Marthas Apartment...
